The Last Word was nerfed quite a while ago. You didn't see one in every single match you ever played in the crucible anymore. But it would still pop up now and again. Still deadly. Not as deadly, but a skilled hand could use it. Like it was MEANT to be. (read the grimoire card on it.) I understand hand cannons recently got a range increase with this update but I mean come on. Maybe leave this one out? TLW is just cheaper than ever now. You guys know it is. That's why it's in such high quantities in the crucible. The chances of getting into a match where there is at LEAST 1 LW is higher than a match with 0.
Don't believe that? Go play 5 matches in different lobbies right now. I can GARUNTEE you TLW will be in the majority. Even if that individual(s) are on your team, that weapons there. Multiplayer shouldn't be like that.
EDIT: I guess this needs clarification (although it shouldn't) but when I say "cheaper than ever" I mean since year 2. Seeing as nearly all weapons of legendary status went moot and exotics all got re-vamped at that point.

Yep. Bungie gone -blam!-ed up yet another patch to their pitiful crucible. TLW is a joke right now. Last night 3/4 of folk I matched against were using it, the range is a joke now and was out doing the supposedly buffed autos with ease at mid range. Do you test your game Bungie? I would bet that you do not and just let us, the paying fans do it for you. -blam!-ing disgrace of a company.

Last Word is the Best, forget the Rest

1 commentaireIn honor of this post, I shall use the last word in PvP for the next week.

6 commentairesModifié par Elitespear : 12/17/2015 3:27:07 AMIf you think the last word in year 2 is cheaper than the last word was in year 1 then you truly are as stupid as your grasp of the english language suggests. Not to mention hand cannons got an accuracy buff, not a range buff.
-
Dude everyone that uses last word can't aim so they use the gun that rewards you for hip fire lol
-
1 commentaireHand cannons did not get a range buff, they got a much needed accuracy buff because a bullet should land where you point your reticle.
-
1 commentaireBring back hawkmoon I want it
-
4 commentairesI "GARUNTEE" you dropped out of English class
-
i love the last word. ive always used it and continue to use it all the time.
-
9 commentairesHonestly? It should have the lowest Impact to ROF class of hand cannons and then some, lower the impact so it's 3 shots to the head from the hip. If you ADS, you should be punished for it.
-
Everyone saying hc didnt vet a range buff are....
correct but what they did get is an ads accuracy buff with a buff to accuracy while shooting continously which makes tlw seriously op again
-
Lol says a guns op. Has the easiest shotgun in the game equipped on 2 out 3 characters lol
-
Hand cannons did not get a range boost but they did get an ads accuracy boost causing them to be more consistent at ranges
-
They ought to have excluded it from the recent HC snapshot accuracy buff. That would have made sense, given that it's not meant to be aimed.
-
Hand cannons didnt get a range buff. Get your facts right.
-
They got increased ads accuracy I find full auto hipfire far more effective
-
HC didn't get a range buff... Get your facts right before complaining.
-
I used TLW in the thorn era And use it right now Guess what it's no where near the same
-
3 commentairesI mean compare last word pre 2.0 and now, which one would be deadly. The problem with TLW is probably because you are in shotgun range, that gun struggles at med range and is absolute garbage in long range
-
Sure but the same thing could be said about hawksaw, suros pdx, mida, 1000 yard. But I honestly like the new meta if that has actually been figured out yet, everyone is using pretty much everything now. Happy to finally see diversity a little instead of just hawksaw and 1000 yard. And there's some fusion rifle users now which I honestly missed
-
2 commentairesTLW, MIDA, Hawksaw, Red Death, and Nirwin's are all very popular. TLW still has limited range (since 2.0). When engaging a TLW user, keep the fight at mid range + and you'll almost always win the fight. If you engage a TLW user at close range with a different primary, chances are you'll lose. The thing is, it's an easy gun to identify by the way it sounds, back up while shooting when you hear it, and you've got a much better chance at victory.
-
That's kinda like saying there shouldn't be a hawksaw everywhere. Let people use what they want
-
3 commentairesThe last word used to have the fastest time to kill in the game of .37 seconds. This was because of the ADS glitch though. I think it is perfectly balanced at the moment. Sidearms are basically the same thing as the gun.
-
2 commentairesI seen it Trials this past weekend, 3-4 teams ran it. After the first beating, me and a buddy equipped ours, for a fighting chance. Eventually it went back to pulse rifles and bullet hoses. Oh, minus the guy that ran No Land Beyond.. "well, hes either really good, or he really sucks"
-
1 commentaireLast word used to be able to snipe, and 2 shot headshot while aiming down sights. It's meant to be the fastest killing weapon at close ranges, which it is. Outside of close range, it's very hard to use.
