Last Word Logic
The Last Word was nerfed quite a while ago. You didn't see one in every single match you ever played in the crucible anymore. But it would still pop up now and again. Still deadly. Not as deadly, but a skilled hand could use it. Like it was MEANT to be. (read the grimoire card on it.) I understand hand cannons recently got a range increase with this update but I mean come on. Maybe leave this one out? TLW is just cheaper than ever now. You guys know it is. That's why it's in such high quantities in the crucible. The chances of getting into a match where there is at LEAST 1 LW is higher than a match with 0.
Don't believe that? Go play 5 matches in different lobbies right now. I can GARUNTEE you TLW will be in the majority. Even if that individual(s) are on your team, that weapons there. Multiplayer shouldn't be like that.
EDIT: I guess this needs clarification (although it shouldn't) but when I say "cheaper than ever" I mean since year 2. Seeing as nearly all weapons of legendary status went moot and exotics all got re-vamped at that point.

Im one of the only people that has TLW in pvp... it took some time... because I sorta sucked using it in my first couple of matches... But then i got a 5 kill streak in the next round.... TLW does take some skill to kill....[spoiler]See what I did there?[/spoiler]

Handcannon's did not see a range increase. They received an ADS accuracy increase, meaning that the range cone was extended slightly making targets easier to hit while ADS.

2 commentairesClearly you're all set in your ways. Not 1 person realizes this gun obviously utilizes a significant advange over basic scenarios. There's a reason so many people are using it again. ADS is obly part of it. Not sure why everyone thinks that's what will cause people to start using it again cuz that's just bullshit. It's effective range was increased. That's why when that particular element for the gun was dumbed down, you didn't see it as much. Now that it's been returned, so has that weapons use. That's just unarguable..

You don't understand anything. Hand Cannons got an increase to accuracy whilst using ADS. Nothing to do with range at all.

The range is the same before the ADS buff. I swear you dudes are so caught up on those bars that shows guns stats.Similar to Lord of Wolves... The range is much more than it lets on

I just don't get where these kids complaining are coming from. As someone who has had TLW since vanilla Y1 when mythoclast could 3-4 shot, It's still a shadow of its old self. It's ttk is very fast but it has terrible range which means you can only engage in certain fights. It can't 2 shot while Ads because the hip-fire damage procing while ads was fixed and the stability is only half of what you use to be able to get. I beat TLW users with other weapons all the time, especially those who just hopped on the bandwagon and are terrible with the weapon. The gun is fine as it is and anymore nerfs will make it terrible.
