There's No Way Tracking On Hammers Was Only Reduced by 25%
You can't hit anyone with a hammer anymor unless they're standing still. Or moving in a straight line away from you. The Sunbreaker is the weakest class in pvp now. Thoughts?
Edit: So every person who's commented saying "learn to aim" or something along those lines has a sub 1.0 KD in the crucible. Sounds like you all need to take your own advice first and go practice and leave this discussion to people who aren't bitter.

My Golden Gun doesn't track targets. Someone told me I had to aim it. :D

I dont use a titan and I agree sunbreakers got hit way too hard. Haven't died from one since the update.

I don't mind it being harder to use but yeah it's pretty bad now. Very hard to compete with other supers now.

6 commentairesI tried out Sunbreaker in PvP last week and it felt dreadful. Then I went around as Striker in Trails and my team melted enemy Sunbreakers before they could kill any of us. The Causturise nerf feels disgusting in tandem with the armour nerf in PvE too. I really don't see the point in nerfing one titan class into the ground whilst making another a PvP god. Striker now has great nades, great neutral game perks (hello sprint speed and shoulder charge), a strong hitting melee and a fantastic super. We've literally just come full circle.

There never was tracking u must be a new titan or just wanted titan for hammers but u don't throw the hammer and it actively seeks for targets it exaggeratedly curved at the last possible second of being an inch away from someone

So the tracking was not that extreme to begin with. It would track the space of the reticle right or left of where target center was. At least from my observation. Now Axiom Bolt,that had tracking. Those damn things would chase out of a room and down a hallway. But this is Bungie we are talking about here. As far as we know they had Hammer tracking set at 25%. Which means the 25% nerf basically turned tracking off.

It never tracked worth a shit to begin with. You literally had to throw it next to their head to get it to move.... watch videos. The nerf basically made a worthless perk now.

I main a hunter and i agree. I think the extent of the nerf was a little rough.

Seen this post a couple days ago and thought "BS" "get good OP" Then there I am playing rusted lands. Heavy ammo is coming. The entire team is huddled inside the stone building by heavy. I activate my hammers. Throw 5 hammers on top the heavy ammo crate. Not a single hit point. You mean to tell me 5 or 6 people huddled into the corner of a tiny room and didn't take damage? I had to literally go inside the room (closet size) before I killed anyone. The hammers are now arching golden gun shots with half the damage output. They always try to go above and beyond. All they had to do was reduce the armor stat. But these assholes have been lying to use since day one with their secret nerfs and fake buffs.

if u think about it know the worst 2 supers for sure are titan and even arguably 3 obviously defender at the bottom then sunbreaker know u can't even get a hitmarker if the hammer is 2 feet away from them let alone a kill and

It is still my favorite Titan subclass, contrary to popular belief by people who didn't see the need for the nerf their neutral game is quite decent. For PvP anyway, Defender all the way PvE!

To be fair even with tracking it wasn't like the hammers were that difficult to avoid pre patch. So it was probably a 25% reduction but it just seems like more.

Naw it's still pretty strong, the 25% reduction was pretty harsh though.

Hammers are still easy mode, just have to actually aim it now and cant hit around corners. Still the best crucible super imo
