Regarding the SRL Record Book

With the experimental launch of Sparrow Racing League, we provided a Record Book via the Eververse Trading Company. It’s a fun way to enable you to track your stats and earn some commemorative loot. It’s also an important way to make sure we can continue to support our operations in providing content, like Sparrow Racing League, that everyone can enjoy.
Unfortunately, that Record Book debuted with a nasty bug that let some players acquire the rewards without purchasing the item.
Fortunately, to preserve the new system and to defend the value that some of you have earned by spending your Silver, we’ve fixed that bug.
If you acquired the exclusive SRL-branded items without acquiring the Record Book, you’ll still find them in your inventory. You just won’t be able to equip them until you buy the book. Don’t dismantle them if you want to keep them.
The Record Book is a compendium of the accomplishments you’ve racked up in the race. If you help yourself to one, the rewards are retroactive. You may have sweet Armor, an Emblem, a Shader, and a new Sparrow waiting for you.
If you picked one up, we appreciate your patience while we sorted this out. The rewards contained within its pages are once again unique to those of you who purchased the new item.

7 commentairesWow, it takes Bungie almost a month to fix the infinite Nightstalker glitch that ruined the first Iron Banner AND got Trials of Osiris canceled, and not even forty eight hours to fix this bug... guess why? Yep, money's involved. Just goes to show how much DeeJ and the rest of the Scrooge McDucks at Bungie care about their community. Up yours, Bungie.

If the money you make from Eververse is what is going to keep this game going, Destiny is doomed.... This is the type of thing that starts with good intentions: "it's a way to give players the things they want, just cosmetic things...." but quickly slide into items players will need more and more the "enjoy" the game... If this is how Bungie is going to prop up Destiny moving forward, instead of paid expansions (no expansions in year 2) then I fully expect my year two experience to be tied to things from Eververse.... It only makes sense that if this is how you plan to make the majority of your development money, that items created will now be sold to us piecemeal, as of selling it to us in those small expansions wasnt bad enough. I disagreed with those that said Eververse was going to ruin Destiny, but every week it looks like they were right... slowly this game and it's "enjoyment" are going to be tied more and more with silver. Destiny was (and right now still is) an amazing game, but the outlook for year two looks more and more dim all the time... All the upside to year two has come with a hefty price tag.

15 commentairesI was happy this patched. Now I wear my $10 record book rewards while cheaters cannot wear them with the book. Also the full momentum set from the book has light bulb nodes that blink wearing the full set. I commonly wear My Skull Mask and the RNG obtained legendary racing gear with the Shimmer Shader. With my Arc Sparrow. (Currently own all legendary sparrows in destiny) I carry my Arc Infinite Edge with my Zhalo Supercell and Iron banner Side Arm or Conspiracy Theory-D. I then wreck in Rift, Clash, and Control... In Style While Racing I use the momentum set or my personal set. I have all promotional shaders too. Besides the Nepal Shader. Gonna buy dat someday. Anyways. You Dont need to payn I li Khan e cosmetic gear. If you cant get it just use all 3 characters abd grab the Legendary Armor Package given by Amanda Holiday and pray to RNGesus for shaders. Also one sparrow package per character. I bought silver because I have great RNG but when I open packages I'm usually not getting the sparrow I want. Just play for gameplay loot. No need to spend. There is no advantage.

4 commentairesSo am curious why I received Hunter armour from my book when I opened it in my Titan. Do I now have to buy 2 more books on my other characters in the hope of getting a full set of Titan armour? Seems a shame to give armour that doesn't belong to your class given the one-off nature of the armour.

For any of you who don't know already all MMO-RPG are money grabbers to keep a game alive through vigorous servers, a 24 hour repair team, the 12 hour research and development team, and the dedication of those who try to bring us good content. The problem is now is that too many people like the OP up above have bitched at how poor they are and how silly it is to buy an expansion that now bungie is making it objectively stupid "optional" dlc. You can play SRL but if you really like it you can actually get the gear by paying the 10 dollars for our pride and dedication to make this your game

Deej I love Destiny, or at least the addiction is BI but what I don't get is if you wanted people to pay for cosmetics then go ahead and make down load skins for a buck a piece. Don't charge us $10 for a book, and at times give us a pat on the head reward that we may or may not want. Some of the complaints below state that they got things for the wrong class and can't even redo or trade in.... that's a problem. Just to clarify I am not advocating that you go to dollar downloads, I'm just saying that is easier to swallow then 10 for a limited time offer. I won't be nasty or talk trash. I have paid my fair share of add ons for other games (Skins, Weapons, Vehicles) whatever, I probably will continue to do so... but those were all single player games, that didn't effect the out come of a PVP match either. I mean before the taken king I was geeked up and some may say dumb enough to hand over more cash for what was coming. I don't see it that way I love the game and the community, but there are things that are disheartening. Like the almost complete ignoring of the community wish list. Yes Sparrow racing is on it. But that's 1 out of how many? Please stop pissing people off. Who else will I play with when everyone rage quits? You?

Guess what, you still get to race thanks to those of us who do spend a few dollars every now and again. You find a way to cheat the system, then get pissed when they fix it? On a side note any adults here remember how much new video games costed 25 years ago? That's right 60 dollars. Be glad new released games aren't 100 plus dollars because let's be honest they should be. Now a days companies can continue to support and expand games, and yes that will cost you money! Would you go to work for free? Rant over!

42 commentairesI think it's time to get serious and protect your game and player base from these cheaters and trolls who seem hell bent on destroying this game. I as well as many of loyal fans have brought The base game all the dlc and yes some silver to support you to expand the experience we love and have spent hundreds of hours enjoying. You need to start removing these toxic members both from your forums and game who steal from you as well as us and cheat us out of our fun. I bought 10 cans of Redbull and 8 of the codes were stolen and I waited a month for Redbull to resolve the situation. All those players who used code generators to steal these codes should of been giving a stern warning and had the quest and items taking from their account with a short ban as punishment. Any repeat offenders should of had a permanent ban. But you never even stated there was a problem publicly with what they were doing. You just said if we had any issues talk to Redbull that was it. No mention of the fraud at all. Now with this new exploit while you did fix the issue quickly which I appreciate you also need to warn these people that anymore glitching and Theft will be met with removal from the game. Also please clean up these forums. While it's fun to debate issues and post silly things as well as communicate with our fellow Gaurdians. It has become filled with so many toxic people with unlinked or inactive accounts that it has became a total joke with most of the fan base abandoning them altogether or going elsewhere. That is all I have to say. Please Bungie for the future of this community Its time to get serious and clean house of these offenders.

8 commentairesGot book and been racing as a warlock......recieved a reward book for a hunter.........now cant get reward for my warlock because it's "complete" very upset at this very very upset did not deliver on this bungie needs to go back to the drawing board before they get a bunch of people boycotting all or any of their events/dlcs
