Personally I don't care much for pvp in this game. I didn't buy it for that purpose. It seems like there is a major shortage of games that supply a good multi-player co-op experience and that is what attracted me to this game within its first week of existence.
I didn't play beta and didn't have it day 1 as I kinda stopped playing games getting somewhat bored with lackluster cod releases. All I played from time to time was a little extinction on ghosts. So when I finally did hear about this I got it right away!
I instantly fell in love with the challenge of the game. Almost every mission was hard when you first started playing the game. Getting to level 20 was just the beginning of the treasure hunt! After using a plethora of weapons that all felt severely underpowered, rumors of weapons that leveled the playing field started to emerge.
The chase was on! Then the pvp community started complaining about weapons that were undoubtedly a nuisance but not impossible for anyone to get. That's what bothers me most.
All the complaining about this gun or that perk typically only hurt the pve experience. You want to level the playing field? Get the weapon that has been wiping you out.
Up until time sensitive bounties started any player could get any weapon as long as you weren't afraid or incapable of doing the footwork.
Basically I just wish the pve experience wasn't suffering for the sake of pvp. There are plenty of pvp games and only a few multi-player co-op.

2 commentairesI would love for them to drop two raids at once when destiny 2 launches. I think if there were two now there would be way more to do in destiny. I loved having VOG and Crota to do at the weekly reset January through may.

As much as I hate to say it (because destiny PvP is so fun), turning this game into 100% PvE would probably be good for everyone (except PvP only players). Think about it, the only reason our favorite guns get nerfed (excluding Ghorn and Black Hammer) is because of PvP players complaining. Not to mention all the PvP only skr00bs will be outta here.

Yes Please!

honestly there is no way to balance this games pvp. let's be honest. if they just focused pve. the game could have been AMAZING

THANK YOU. I love pvp, but pve is the core experience in destiny and has so much untapped potential. I wish they could separate weapon performance in pvp vs pve, because I honestly hate the fact that pvp balance problems are applied to pve encounters as well, where the nerfs do nothing for fairness and just harm your general ability to succeeda

Agree! I like PvP, but I Love PvE.

4 commentairesI said it at launch that PVP would ruin Destiny and I will be proved right, they should have made the crucible weapons and gear for crucible only...how many good weapons have we lost because of bullshit crying PVPers?
-
2 commentairesI do feel like pve should be the keystone of the experience.
-
Or they can just make item/factor X only proc in PvE/PvP not both
-
Wall of Text crits you for over 9000!
-
They should separate the 2 modes and have an entire upgrade and gear path for both. PVP gear = PVP perks, PVE gear = PVE perks. Its stupid to have to go into end game PVP content with raid perk gear.

5 commentairesAgree. PvP in a PvE centric (or at least advertised) game should not exist or atleast not to this extent. PvP should of been an afterthought, a little fun thing(and custom matches. If you MUST pvp, do it right), not PvE.. But can you blame them? PvE requires actually making content. PvP, they just need guns, maps, and modes and let the players just go at it. Throw in an event here and there and they are racking up the $ while putting the duct tape on PvE (multiple meanings). Path of least resistance...

It should be both

14 commentairesYeah the Pvp crowd always tend to be the loudest. As a result the guns get balanced to Pvp.

6 commentairesModifié par Allen con chile : 11/19/2015 10:53:25 AMIt would be nice to have another pve focus other than the raid. A second raid would be awesome but that is asking too much. Maybe a three man mini raid like prison. Could even make it a once a monthly event like iron banner. That would make this game interesting and refreshing again.

Agree!!

9 commentairesModifié par BlaximusPrime178 : 11/19/2015 5:28:33 PMThey really just need to separate and standardize pvp. Like every other game pvp should have separate ranking systems. Light level is eliminated in pvp and goes from 1-40. Each level needing more xp to get to the next level. So when you see a level 40 in pvp you know they're a pretty seasoned pvper. Player gets a choice of 4 primaries and 3 secondaries all changing every week. 10 ranks unlocks a tiered set of weapons for the week, similar to the gunsmith test weapons. The tiers would go as follows 1-10 (whites) 11-20 (greens) 21-30 (blues) 31-40 (purples) No exotic weapons or armor. No heavy. No supers. No perks. weapons given have player action perks (reload speed, increased ammo, faster sprint etc) instead of gun action perks (range increases, stability increases, etc) Skill in pvp goes from the gun to the player because the rotating weapons means people will have to adapt loadouts and playstyles. No perks means no real life saving advantages Ranked pvp playlist keeps track of losses and you will lose level if you consistently lose matches (similar to halo 3 ranked pvp), Ultimately meaning only really skilled people hit Max (40) Unranked playlists don't keep track of losses and level remains regardless of matches lost, making it a good place to practice strategies Ultimately meaning anyone given enough time can reach Max. Matchmaking will pair you with people your pvp level (keeping you in the same weapon tier) so you don't have to worry about getting crushed by legendary weapons while you're stuck with commons.

Modifié par Monkeymayhem915 : 11/19/2015 7:29:53 PMBoth...give us private matches Bigger maps but not as big as first light...like shores of time...and reward players fairly PvE more strikes

Just need pvp gear like wow

Agreed.

2 commentairesPvE requires content and storytelling (which Destiny still lacks)... PvP is just a room with two teams shooting each other, no content creation required...
