Halo 5 Multiplayer > Crucible
I played a few matches of halo 5 with friends, enough to get my platinum rank in slayer and i realized how balanced it was... I got matched in as little as 15 seconds and to my surprise it was not a match in progress, we all had good connection and nobody teleported like taken thrall... I never had the hassle of dealing with shotgun scrubs (you know who you are) and fleeing from sunbreakers. I also had a few sprees going on, none of them were ruined by a titan or warlock that just supers one guy lol.
Really enjoying dedicated servers, balanced multiplayer, a ranking system and great maps not like some maps like vertigo, exodus blue and crossroads, awful maps by all means littered with filthy shotguners with no thumbs, not at all fun to snipe in those maps.
We all had to work for our kills and not just slide shotgun or spam hammers. In Destiny, if you use a handcannon or auto rifle, the dude with the pulse rifle will have an edge in combat same goes for that pussy shotgunner against someone using a primary as the crucible is not balanced and if history repeats itself, we will have to wait a year for bungie to push an update to attempt to fix this mess. In the meantime, just run up to everyone you see and shotgun them (make sure youre using conspiracy theory or party crasher or a Y1 shotgun with perfect rolls. Im not the best player but i dont have to resort to cheap shit to get kills,
Anyway trials is coming out tomorrow and i will probably not be participating and halo 5 is everything the crucible should be. Enjoy your dead shooter.

I use either a sniper or fusion for a secondary, but yesterday went into the crucible with no weapons other than a primary... all I had in my secondary slot was a Conspiracy Theory that I got in some drop and I just use as a place holder. It isn't even ranked up... Anyway, since I was doing a primary quest I never used it, but at one point I had no primary ammo and started running around with it for a while... I would just walk up to dudes and boom... I didn't even aim... just hip fire... color me surprised... it is just that easy...

Just finished the campaign and played several matches of warzone and arena, the one thing that stood out was the server speed. I've seen lag switchers and stuff in destiny but overall it didn't seem that bad to me, at least not as bad as a lot of people make it out to be but holy crap it really is a big difference, no delayed after death punch kills, no retreating from a gunfight only to get killed by bullets after you're already around the corner and protected by a wall, its much, much better in that regard.

If you do well in destiny's PVP you'll do well in Halo.my only gripe with the game currently is that i have to PvE to be competeing in a PVP activity. They refuse to let me access raid level blues so i can upgrade gear to compete. I had to play Iron banner with a 290ish light level against kids with a whole level higher in gear and they didn't give me gear to compete with those kids. I still played. I figured i would get 300 gear drops but 280 BS.They blamed a bug and took my chance of getting gear to compete with those kids away. Why are you forcing me to Do your RAID. I have no interest in killing your Taken KING. I just enjoy shooting kids and collecting hard earned gear doing so. I even jumped on my hunter because titan was a lot easier to play and my main is a titan.

4 commentairesWait you're telling me, a game has actual dedicated servers? And it's smooth and no lag? That's the only game in awhile that has managed to accomplish such things... maybe because they actually care about their players and don't cut some spending.

But I've raged so many times due to unlucky happenings, such as an impossible to avoid super, or insane range on a shotgun. This is not the case for halo. If you die, there's a LEGITIMATE reason. Not a random super. And I love it. It's focused on skill and much more enjoyable. Blows crucible away.

But I have my doubts that the multiplayer will stay highly populated and active when Battlefront, Rainbow Six Siege and Black Ops 3 come out. Plus the rest of the big holiday titles. I hope I'm wrong and it does stay popular for awhile because it's more fun with a bigger community. If you play Master Chief Collection's Multiplayer right now, you'll only find hardcore Halo fans who are usually pretty good and play with groups of friends so they have a full team and a few scrubs who will end up on your team. That ends up being no fun for the average player who gets crapped on by everyone. And the really good players never get a challenging match. So a bigger community with a variety of skill levels is more fun for everyone. But did you really have to sink so low and make a Gamertag called "Destiny is Badd"? You give Master Chief a bad name.

I am loving it. I like the challenge and cat and mouse. What I would like to see is just a better balance for Warzone. The req system is a little -blam!-ed up. Not the Reds themselves but how the levels are opened. I had a game were one team had tanks and we were still 2 levels away. That is unbalanced. It should just be on a timer so the unlocks happen for both. Also the boss kills, had a game were we had a tank and a banshee all but kill it and the only guy from the other team kills him with one shot and they got all the points. That's dumb. Other than that it's a blast. Also not once have I been killed in arena and thought to myself how -blam!-ed up it was. Basically, all the hunters can't just gold gun me anymore and guess what? They usually die

That's what pay to win means. Every one of you is in denial and it's the saddest thing I've ever seen lmao. Hypocrites are fun to watch. But - the story is choppy, lacks continuity and finished abruptly after a build up to what one hoped was a material engagement between Chief and Cortana - the AI on your squad was below par - you were supposed to be in a family and there was zero emotional connection. The resurrection mechanic was lazy and lowered to stakes for each fight - another bloody trash mob ! Mob after mob after mob made missions a chore. ADS IA was hopeless no flanking and feinting just up to middle with lots of ADS - Warzone - maps a large with infrequent engagement - the BF crowd will probably love it but it's not my cup of tea. - REQ pack - pay to win pure and simple - While dedi appear to have reduced p2p host induced lag - lag is still there and hit recognition feels off. I will say the UI is tight and the music is fantastic the composer nailed it producing moving modern classics. Theses are just some early thoughts perhaps my views will develop further with more play but I didn't wait years for some sought of Chief Cortana resolution to get this cold under whelming emotionless game. Disappointed
