Let's weigh out some pros and cons of each-
Guardians get a massive Arsenal and can equip any weapons they find at anytime and carry excesses of ammo for their personal weapons.
Spartans have a much smaller Arsenal and have to find ammo for their weapons on the battlefield. And they can only own 2 weapons at a time. The rest they have to find while in action.
Guardians Can summon a personal vehicle, but the sparrow doesn't have any weapons and is very fragile. They can however drive enemy pikes and interceptors if they find any.
Spartans don't have a personal vehicle, but allies are constantly dropping down powerful vehicles and artillery that they can all pilot. And they can pilot any enemy vehicle they capture, including tanks.
Guardians have the ghost, a door opener that essentially makes them immortal and invulnerable to everything that doesn't contain Light, with the exception of fall damage. So dying means pretty much nothing to them. They can be killed however, if they are found in a darkness zone and their entire fireteam is dead, they are dead. Forever.
Spartans aren't as fortunate. If a spartan dies, they are MIA. So basically no revives for Spartans. They go YOLO.
Guardians have small fire teams. Most guardian missions are for 3 people or less, most going solo. But for Raids, they can go in with a maximum of 6 people. And they have very little communication to the authority. Usually there are less than 2 people overseeing them, not including the ghost. And there are no human allies, so it's guardians only.
Spartan teams are much larger. There is a maximum of 16-20 Spartans in one team. They also often work with ground soldiers as allies. And they have a great communication with AI and authorities such as UNSC and Cortana.
Guardians training extends past their birth. They have the crucible, a place where they can hone their combat skills against other guardians without the danger of being killed.
Spartans get most of their training before becoming Spartans. Because there is no multiplayer training since Spartans go YOLO so they only get to hone their skills by killing stuff on the field at the danger of dying.
So, which would you rather be?

This is why the universe is the way it is, and not some other way. Existence is a game that everything plays, and some strategies are winners: the ability to exist, to shape existence, to remake it so that your descendants - molecules or stars or people or ideas - will flourish, and others will find no ground to grow. And as the universe ticks on towards the close, the great players will face eachother. In the next round there will be three queens, and all of them will have armies, and now it will be a battle of swords - untill one discovers the cannon, or the plague, or the killing word. Everything is becoming more ruthless and in the end only the most ruthless will remain [ LOOK UP AT THE SKY) and they will hunt the territories of the night and extinguish the first glint of competition before it can even understand what it faces or why it has transgressed. This is the shape of victory: to rule the universe so absolutely that nothing will ever exist except by your consent. This is the queen at the end of time, whose soverignty is eternal because no other soverign can defeat it. And there is no reason for it, no more than there was reason for the victory of the atom. It is simply the winning play.
- Toland, vanilla Destiny Everyone is wrong. Spartans -------->Guardians

Wow Spartens could kick guardian ass easily
-
I would kill my self with that ghost keep saying guardian In my face when I die
-
Spartan, then I can be a spartan as long as I want, without running into paywalls and have to stop being a gaurdian :)
-
2 commentairesProbably a guardian because of the resurrection ability and all the powers that come with it, honestly I think Spartans are more badass but if they die they're dead for good whereas guardians can just be respawned
-
An ODST.
-
1 commentaireThis is obviously biased. Spartan despite the bias, they still have more training in how to use weaponry, they don't need magic. They typically work in small units of 3-4 or can go solo if they really want. They're more badass. They don't cry because their enemy has an advantage. And they're overall not a bunch of pussies.

In short: Guardians have to learn on the fly and don't know how to use enemy equipment. Spartans already know most things and can use enemy equipment. Spartans would be able to use your weapons against you.
Halo 5's Spartans would be more capable of countering these Tenno wannabes. Guardians (all of the following: Destiny) CANNOT EQUIP ENEMY WEAPONS. Guardians are UNDEAD. Spartans (Halo) can use almost ANY weapon to it's MAXIMUM EFFECTIVENESS WITHOUT prior training with said foreign weaponry! Spartans can use more vehicles than Guardians. Spartans never die. Spartans' abilities can be superior to Guardians, depends on circumstance. Spartans have armour -and- shields, Guardians only have armour. Spartan teams may vary from lone wolves to proper siege teams, depending on the situation. Also, one extra note: Spartan cloaking lasts longer and is harder to see than Guardian cloaking (Hunters). In my opinion, both sides are relatively even. I'd say if you set both of these against Forerunner Prometheans (pre-Composition), they will have no chance of survival at all.
-
3 commentairesWell, you said no Spartan revives. Halo 5: Guardians would beg to differ. GG.
-
7 commentairesSpartans can carry a lot more than 2 guns, read the books -blam!-
-
1 commentaireI'm going to give you guys some information, in destiny a golden gun fires bullets of "sunfire" so like shooting bullets as hot as the sun. We already know enemies can tank this shot and keep going. Well in the halo universe the covenant uses plasma weapons, plasma is hotter than the sun. That means a golden gun is basically a weaker plasma pistol.
let that sink in
Spartans can destroy civilizations and could punch a guardian through 50 layers of brick. That proves Spartans are OP

1) Guardian because space magic. 2) Fake Purse confirmed.

Guardians because the success rate of the spartan II program was low.
Spartan II's are the real Spartans.
4 commentairesWhat pisses me off about all these type of conversations is that the end argument for desticles are "they are immortal and can't die" And no real reasoning.....
