BDobbins, You win.. I can't believe this!! REALLY BUNGIE?!
[b]BEFORE ANYTHING I WANT TO SAY I'M ONLY SPREADING THE WORD.[/b]
Most of what BDobbins says are perceived in a very negative way and I think he complains more than trying to find a solution to problems. Hower I do agree somewhat into what he's saying.
But I have to say.. after watching that video I feel a little dirt towards bungie as a company.

Bdobbins makes his living off people spreading his videos around to get everyone to watch them and comment on them just to insult them. He gets money from it. He is a hypocrite, and to be honest a waste of resources. Half of what the man says isn't even true. But no, you can't be banned for it since you didn't do anything other then post a video link. I know he said his mommy was an attorney, but either Marty didn't sue for wrongful termination, or he didn't win on those grounds. Why? Because the judge didn't order he be given his job back. That's the remedy for wrongful termination. Maybe he didn't pay enough attention when he worked at his mommy's office? He won on contractual grounds. Not for wrongful termination. 2. He states that Marty wouldn't have been as motivated if he knew everything he was making was going to be used. This is common practice in every collaborative large scale media project. There is always parts of games made that don't get used. Just like there are always cut scenes on the blue rays. That's just reality. 3. The people that created a project always have more passion and will make a better project? Ask George Lucas how that worked out on the second Star Wars trilogy. Did they treat Marty shady? Sure. The stock was compensation for already competed work. They couldn't take it, nor should they have tried. But once again, bdobbins has no idea what's he's talking about.

Modifié par Banjovi : 10/17/2015 6:34:25 PMa few things I noted from the video: 1. is choosing trailer music taking over artistic control? seems to me more like the marketing team's job. 2. from what I read, Marty didn't compose all of the music for all ten years, but simply the title screen music. please don't blow things out of proportion. 3. you said it was so evil of Bungie making Marty compose all the music and then firing him, but from what I can tell they had a team of new people write the music. granted the only source I have for this is Bungie themselves, so they may be bending the truth a bit. 4. another small thing you didn't mention is that several employees did mention that Marty was, after E3, a pain to work with. again, though, this may all be Bungie making stuff up.

The guy was fired for being a child about not getting his music played in a trailer because Activision wanted to do something else. Then once he was fired bungie tried withholding his stock. That's what the case was about, withholding stock. Not protection of the game or whatever. It was a composer got his music shelved and he couldnt check his ego. Instead of keeping calm and trying to constructivly hemp the game he tried to ruin it because his hard work wasn't being used the way he wanted.
