First of all, what defines a good player? The amount of times they completed a raid? The amount of people they kill in crucible? Their KD? Their Grimoire score?
In my Opinion every player is valuable in their own way, some are obviously skilled in more fields than others but I want to know what makes YOU special? Use this time to show off your bad-assery! What are things you're really good at in Destiny? What are accomplishments you're proud of?
For me I'm a very well rounded player, I run tons of raids, with both new raiders and experienced raiders, I can lead a team through any raid with a co-operative team. I can do ANY position in any raid, sword bearer, relic bearer, left/right/middle confluxe, gaze runner, Ad control, Torn runner. Whatever job you want me to do I'll do it proficiently I have 3 manned hard VOG as a lvl 30, Solo'd hard and normal Crota at lvl 32, and for PvP I'm a great sniper, I'll win 9 out of 10 sniper battles regardless if there are two vs me, go ahead and check out my stats top 1% for trials. I'm not only a sniper, I can run any tactic you want me to run in crucible, I'll play the objective and still go positive. I can play any game mode but trials is my favorite and can even double carry to a flawless victory depending on the map, I can be a support class and have tons of assist to prove it :)
Now it's your turn! :) I showed off in the paragraph above, now tell me what you're proud of, to the trolls and haters I say good day to you sirs this is just a thread to show off and maybe run into some really good players who want to team up so go ahead and leave your GT or PSN User.

1 commentaireA good player knows what to do, and does it without being asked

1 commentairePVE Id say playing support, taking out mobs and trying to keep my team alive is my strong point
-

-
2 commentairesI pride myself on using a sniper in crucible I am actually good at using snipers in crucible it is just that I can't outweigh my shotgun past

Blink shotgun

1 commentairePvP wise, I can run spark in rift? I guess that counts? And I can have my way with my 1k stare sometimes. And PvE... Well reviving. Yeah... Clutch revives FTW?
-
1 commentaireBecause my mommy said so.

2 commentairesPvE Mainly in Strikes and Raids. I put aggression to its definitive meaning and hold the line of mobs and Majors. I play the role of a Sentinel. I protect and defend my team with absolute aggression.

Modifié par FinalBossVX : 10/11/2015 1:07:46 AMI try to play PvP like a game of chess. I think about spawns, im constantly aware of the minimap. I always try to position and manouver around the map so that i have cover or an escape route, so if u get a shot at me first, ill back out and cover, then my health regens and i regain my composure. Instead of trying to kill u when i know u had the upper hand cause u started the attack

I'm not an idiot:)
very Rare in this community

also 3 manning crota, pretty good at crucible, 4 manning gatekeeper and atheon(friend 2 manned up to that) stuff like that
On this game? Anything can make you good, an RNG system means you should take your Destiny "Skill" and throw it out the window

1 commentaireOnly scrubs think each player is "valuable" in their own way.

I'm a legendary relic wielder in the Vault of Glass, I haven't beaten atheon much, only around 10 times, but I have killed the templar so many times lol. Other than that, I'm a pretty good crucible sniper. My headshot percentage on DTR is over 70% :) Nice positive post, you don't see enough of these anymore on the forums.

1 commentaireModifié par JonahTalks : 10/11/2015 12:12:29 AMIn PvE, I usually run point in raids but always listen to others and try their strategies. I think I am a good teacher in raids and like to think of myself as patient (though it can be rough at times). Overall I am pretty knowledgable in the game and help people out with questions. In PvP, I don't really go hard in normal crucible so my stats are pretty average. But in Trials I am a sniper who is top 1 or 2% and I have been flawless around 30ish times. I also actually started playing PvP (what I mean by that is not just running around in circles with a Judgement VI in The Dark Below) in House of Wolves but have had the game for much longer. So most of my trials flawless runs were later on even though I went to the Lighthouse the first week.

2 commentairesTime invested, knowledge of the game's mechanics, having at least a break even k/d, willingness to help others, provides constructive criticism and teaches the proper way to do something instead of throwing mindless insults. Just a few thoughts off the top of my head on what constitutes a good player, in terms of PvP anyways.

2 commentairesBeing able to adapt

1 commentaireI never attempted at soloing Raids or PoE (Probably can't even do it by myself) But I know I can get 3-5 times more kills than my entire Strike Team during Strikes if I don't run past adds . And Crucible I don't like it but I go positive if I ain't trying to get sword/ Quest related kills/ etc

1 commentaireIn pve, mainly raids, I'd love to know how to do everything so I can step up in that slot. For pvp, I don't go by k.d as much bc I have fun and try different stuff. But when doing osris, I dont have a amazing k/d ratio but I'm those clutch type of people who go against the odds. Like 1v3 ..
