So it's not even been enough time for the hard mode to come out yet all we can find on the King's fall is people looking for others that have already done it? Don't join these people they are obviously not good enough to do it and need people that have done it to drag them through it

1 commentaireWell maybe if the average person could manage to jump on plates in a counter clockwise manner or shoot a giant -blam!-ing ogre in its back there wouldn't be these threads

Modifié par Zynastor : 9/30/2015 7:09:11 PMI teach newcomers in under two hours. I enjoy the raid, it really got me to creating this: ORYX @LIGHT-260, FULL-King's Fall RAID challenge. They decide whether they want to be led or lead alongside a team of first runners. I enjoyed every hour of my first raid, since raid release. But if they want in, I teach them. p.s. It's so funny when players get frustrated at people who don't know what to do -- WHEN NO ONE HAS TOLD THEM ANYTHING! I began considering this: I can't get mad at someone I didn't give an order to. So I give them an order, and they do it. We all succeed, always improving. -Two hours or less.

Its tough to learn .. people dont wanna carry. Go grab the sea of complainers that wanna get carried and start from scratch.
-
First time I did King's Fall only 2 players had beaten it, while the rest of us just had a general idea. Blew past everything in the beginning with ease. It comes down to how well everyone can cooperate with each other.
-
I haven't done the raid yet..If I find people willing to help me, great..If they want more experienced people, that's fine too..Not gonna lose any sleep over a video game
-
If you want to do the raid go to the tower aka the social place a get friends. You'll scrubs have had a year to establish friend and or raiding parties.
yet there are times that I like teaching others
-
To be honest I'm that way. This raid isn't a place to carry people in. It takes extreme team work and avid communication. I'm not going to bring somone in that hasn't completed oryx let alone have any knowledge of the fight

Bring your flawless emblem and Laurea Prima to prove that you're not a casual. Must be experienced and know how to kill a Pike Dreg in 1 shot everytime. Message xXPrimusBiggusDickusNiggusXx for an invite.

1 commentaireI don't always feel like taking 4 hours to do the raid because I have to explain everything 5 times.
-
Modifié par NIHNJAHMAHN : 9/29/2015 8:33:34 PMNo, that's not it at all. I have 2 hours a night to play, if I get in with a bunch of people who have no idea what to do, I have to explain it. Takes 10 minutes, each fight, roughly. Then I have to wait for them to get the hang of it (anywhere from 20 minutes to an hour) that's half the time I have, and we're only at warpriest. Then I have to explain that, 10 more minutes. Then I have to wait for them to catch on, another 45-hour. Then I may have gotten past Warpriest and I have to get off. With a group that knows what they're doing, no explanations needed, for the glyph before warpriest, 1 try maybe 2. Warpriest, easily one try, then I can atleast get past Golgoroth in 2 hours. Then I get off, or if I think it's going well, I stay on for sisters and we try Oryx the next day. That's why I do it. Because it's faster, and when I ran it my first time, nobody had experience, if we could do it, so could you.

"Are you experienced?" - Hendrix
-
My thoughts about this is that I would want someone who has at least watched some YouTube videos before joining me. I don't want to spend too much time explaining the simple mechanics of the fight just for you.
-
Just say you are and join figure it out then. I did it 2 nights ago and finished my first raid. Stop putting up barriers for yourself.

8 commentairesJesus -blam!-ing Christ, start your own group. Did you cry when the coach wanted to play the best players at a critical part in the game? If you don't like someone's requirements, start your own group and invite everyone you want. So much goddamn crying about not being let into pick up groups with random players.
-
1 commentaireYou actually need all experienced people if you want it done quick. I will never play with scrubs.

Modifié par Zeal_Is_Magic77 : 9/29/2015 7:40:32 PMThe last group I was with...we were at Oryx, and while some of them had finished the raid before, and did their tasks well, they ended up getting big-headed and began arguing and swearing at each other. Then the group dissolved, just like that. It was sad. I just want to run the raid with good PEOPLE; I'd prefer that than good players. I'll gladly show them what to do if they're cool. Sure I may ask for the 295+ requirement sometimes, but that's only because it would be easier for everyone, and I'm assuming that people know that there's 295 stuff at the end. I haven't beaten oryx yet, but I hope I can do it this week.
-
Exactly. People are douche bags. Like give us a chance to do the raid
-
Or they want a fast run with experienced players so that they don't want to spend 3-4 hours doing it when they have stuff to do. Either way though
-
Because some of us have put in some serious time from release to complete it....and have numerous time.... And......some of us just want to be carried.
-
First off you can't even drag people through this -blam!-ing raid.... everyone has to do their own part...
-
There are two kinds of people who ask for experience 1. People who have put in their time and learned the raid and now are looking to complete it as quickly and efficiently as possible, what a lot of people would call "elitists" 2. People who want to get carried or have failed numerous times and just can't handle the frustration anymore. In my mind the second category are the worst offenders, if you're just looking for a quick painless run then I completely accept that you don't want to be explaining every tiny thing to everyone, but if you're just looking to be carried to easy loot thing you're bad.
-
Then why don't u look for 5 players with or without exp and let me know how that goes buddy. Cry me a river. Who gives a -blam!- what people look for on the forums. It's their group...

6 commentairesModifié par ThisMahSwamp : 9/29/2015 5:12:07 PMHow hard is it for people to make their own LFG post? Here, I'll give you an example: "Looking for 5 for fresh run. No experience needed. Message GT above" I can almost guarantee you a ton of messages. Here's the thing, you won't make that post....will you? Why? Because YOU WANT experienced players. There is a screwed up dichotomy here, one that is exacerbated by those without experience for this very reason. Just some food for thought.
-
Where is butt hurt when you need him?
-
Honestly i don't want to spend the entire day teaching randoms how to kill a boss! I just search for people who know how to do it and get the raid done in 2-3 hours max instead of 7 hours
-
More like they just want to get it done fast and not have a headache afterwards.
