Is three of a coin useless now?
Title says it all
What do you think?
Edit: i think its not completly bs because it still drops sometimes. But its really not that good as it was.
Btw guys if you're struggling with the same drops everytime try using your alts. It seems that you always get copys on the same class. I got invective so many times.

1 commentairehonestly it depends on how you look at it. I don't think Bungie had intentions for exotics raining from ultra kills. I usually get an exotic engram every 7 or 8 ToCs. so it's like buying a random exotic engram for 10 or so strange coins. in my opinion it's worth it. pro tip- turn an exotic engram at light level 300 or above to get that exotic 310

Used my first three of coin today and got a special weapon exotic engram drop from the sunless cell final boss and got the hereafter sniper ;)

Naw, it's still good. My buddy and I were patrolling Mars for that relic shard/void ability kills quest and whenever the Taken were spawned in we popped our coins and at least got an exotic every 3 ultra bosses... well at least one of us did.

Omg they were only nerfed for the drakasis method. If you use them like normal, they weren't effected at all.

Used about 30-ish so far, got maybe 10 exotics, most were last word though. Maybe I'm just lucky

4 commentairesThey worked well like intended the 1st week they were out, but now...it's almost useless. I spent 20+ in strikes. One at the end of each boss. And I only go 2 exotics so far. Hella NERF! First week I got 3 all back to back.

Alpha lupi (titan) 290 def. 1 The last word 290 dmg. 2 alpha lupi (hunter) 290 def. 1 Monte carlo 290 dmg. 1 suros 290 dmg. I was ready to write them off and never buy them again after week 1 - but decided to try a few more last week. 15 coins: Claws (Warlock gauntlets), Jade Rabbit, Telesto, Crest (Hunter chest). Probably going to give them a shot this week too.

I have noticed far less engrams than before the nerf. Yes, I am doing strikes, not farming. Of course, I could just have had incredible luck before, scoring an engram every 5 coins or so. Now I'm lucky to get one every 20 coins.
