Nope "taken" it slow. Did first mission and subclass quest on all 3 and did some bounties. Ran into a few taken events. At 38 on all 3.

Getting to 40 is easy and it's only a rubber stamp to make people feel good. The game hasn't changed at all, the light is still all that matters and light 240 is like level 20, 280 is like level 28 and 310 or so is level 30 (in vanilla levels). Your still not going to be able to max out with out going into the raid, just like vanilla. The only difference is that you won't need it to be level 40, which doesn't matter anyways (only for equipping gear. So you can only level up you light once your reach your required experience. Was 20, now it's 40).

I could have, but I'm working on my Titan for the Raid. My other two characters have 20 public events and 16 max XP on them still.

nope! I'm at an organic farm in Maine for 2 days instead of playing Destiny. On the plus side, I do get to poop in a bucket and not shower

2 as of right now. My Titan could be a 40 if I just played a quest.

Yeah 7 of them. Didn't have enough public events saved for my Titan on XB1 it's 39.5.

Yes but only my Titan has a decent light level, but it still isn't even enough to do the nightfall.
