Nolan North needs to go...
I'm sorry but his voice over the ghost sounds like he is straight reading from the script. I don't like it and feel like a 13 year old is talking. I mean he's so unsure of what is happening, should I be scared or not scared?
Peter Dinkledge at least put character and a sense of being in the ghost. I want Dinklebot back but it won't happen;(
Update: positive feedback looks like Dinklebot will be missed
Update 2: some Nolan north people are joining but making good points! Maybe once the new dialogue drops he'll do better?
Update 3: 200+ replies keep the opinions coming!
Update 4: 500+ replies, seems we have quite the debate going. However if you watch the first mission in TTK Nolan sounds better!

Update 5: Nolan sounds amazing in the Taken King as predicted by many guardians. We are all good now! XD

I think Nolan's new original lines will sound much more natural since he's not trying to redo something that most had already gotten accustomed to.

Even if you weren't paying attention. The least everyone who is complaining can do is just at least wait and listen to his performance in TTK before forming a negative opinion of it. IMO I don't care either way, they are both fine. The ghosts voice is inconsequential to me. I just hope Bungie hired a phenomenal writer to work on TTK along with North.

Let's be honest, the script for vanilla Destiny was cringe-worthy. No matter how good the voice actor is, you can't make bad dialogue suddenly good. I'll wait and judge TTK dialogue.

Nolan did his best with what he was given, and for the most part, he did a good job.

1 year of dinklage hate Replace dinklage We now have Dinkleberries swearing how great he has always been. Year 2 will hate north until destiny 2 if they replace actor again.

Try playing the whole story again, and not listening to two lines. It's not that bad.

It think the reason he sounds bad now is because everyone complained about Dinklebot. He wants to sound different, because if he reads the script just like Dinkleage, people will continue complaining. Once the new dialogue drops, I'm sure he'll sound fine.

I do however believe Nolan North is better at a majority of lines than Dinklage. Each if them have good lines and each of them have bad ones. I just think Nolan North actually gives me the feel of Ghost being a sidekick and also being full of energy and curiosity. I'm enjoying North and I think he'll do well for the dialogue in Taken King.

He sounds like a little kid me and my friends make fun of everything he says i dont like the voice change at all. But its not an important thing to me i like the new changes besides that

He is terrible. Only thing worse is the writing/script. Dinklebot was clearly better.

The script is the main problem. Dinklebot's 'we've woken the hive' is much better though, the one line dinklage nailed

You guys don't get it. Peter dinklage isn't a dedicated voice actor, he is also a screen actor. Those actors have the busiest schedule because they have to be out their home, at some point Nolan could just record lines at home if has the equipment set up. Voice actors have an easy schedule to deal with when it comes to gaming. You can't expect a screen actor to have time for every recording.

I just think the ghost sounds too much like its afraid. And it's too child-like and feminine for my approval. Dinkleberry wasn't much better, but at least it didn't sound like my 3 year old daughter was tagging along.
