At Rank 25 Faction you get a exotic quest.

If you're for example over rank 25 on Dead Orbit, make an alliance with DO and you'll get the exotic quest from it.

Edit: Must have equipped Class item, shader, and emblem for that faction in order to progress through the quest.
Edit 2: For many of you that keep asking, it does [b]NOT[/b] work for vanguard.
Edit 3: For those who are saying to not turn in the bounty, just stop because it doesn't even let you turn it in.
Edit 4: [b]LEGENDARY EMBLEM CODE FOR EVERYONE : 3VFLGCRLX[/b] Redeem it on the bungie.net page where you redeemed past codes. It will be available on the 15th.

17 commentairesOnly few people caught on to this, but if you left the faction unranked(high ranked faction) for at least 2 weeks; your probabilities of getting a shader was skyhigh. At least with this patch most of you who actualy ARE day ones and never got one will get one for sure. You cant consider yourself "day one" or acceptable for high rewards if your faction is under lvl 10 btw. Rank up!

Doing NM quest. Only need to win 6 more. -blaming- matches! My win-loss is probably 0-15. No matter how good or bad I do, I always get paired with bad players.

Just an fyi some ppl say it doesn't work if you have a shader emblem class item and it still doesn't work try having a piece of armor as well worked for me

9 commentairesYou must have a legendary shader, emblem and class armor equipped for the progress count. ALL THREE MUST BE LEGENDARY, otherwise you will not make any progress towards the quest at all.

1 commentaireso i just got the quest at lvl 25, im currently wearing a shader(revenant), and emblem(omen of exodus) and a chest armer+dead orbit ghost+scout rifle! so could you PLZ tell me why on earth am i not making any progress while doing heroic strikes and crucible matches all the time?

Have 2 of the 3 faction quests almost completed. Will have a shiny new exotic cloak and mark come tomorrow morning courtesy of new monarchy and dead orbit :)

39 commentairesi want to pledge allegiance to the queen/queen's wrath faction and continue fighting for the vanguard like we do already. :) how do you get to rank 25 with a faction? i've been playing steadily for a month or 2 and cryptarch is only like rank 12 or 13 and queen's faction rank 3.5 and eris is rank 3 i think also. someone posted a screenshot somewhere recently with 95 rank for the cryptarch, and my jaw just dropped. don't know how they got that high.
