Rest in peace mom

Last year on the 6th of November I lost my mother suddenly. She had a heart attack and her brain began to fail from lack of oxygen, she was resuscitated but the damage had been done. The doctors gave us the grim news and she was taken off of life support after three days. I've never been so devastated. I'm a 35 year old man and a cried my eyes out like a child. Feeling lost, confused and angry as -blam!- I had no idea where to turn. So I picked up a copy of this game. When I was younger I used to disappear in video games, they always helped ease my mind and helped me calm down whenever shit was crazy for me. Cheesy as it may sound Destiny was like a big old comfortable blanket for me. I immersed myself, it helped me. It brought me some joy, it took my mind off of the world and put me into another one. This game was my counselor and crutch in very hard time for me, and it did is job well. Don't know why, but I felt compelled to tell that short story, and just wanted to take time to thank bungie and the destiny community. You both are awesome. Once again, rest in peace moma, I love you forever and always. I'm ready for year 2. I guess an edit is in order, first thing first, I really did lose my mother. Her name is Fernanda Beth " Campos " Melloy she has an obituary. Second, im not looking for attention or for a gun that nobody has. Third I wasn't expecting so many responses I just wanted to say thank you to bungie and the community. And last but not least, thank you all for the kind words. You all have my respect. ]
