Just did the math on my 3 characters for year 1 (year 2 / 2.0 update drops tomorrow so it's kind of a new beginning), and I have 1,344 hrs in the game... Yeah... Probably a lightweight by MMO standards, even more to some of you other players, but I have put more time into this game than most other games. To figure it out: Go to your profile, and click on each of your guradians. Near the middle of the page you will see your K/D for PVE and PVP, and below that your total kills and time played. If you want to figure out your total playtime among your characters, simply add up that time. Hope this helps :) In the words of the great Harry Caray: "Hoooollleeee Coow!" With that being said, do any of you have favorite memory from the past year? There were a lot of fun times playing with friends, meeting new people, but mine would undoubtedly be the first time I had Gjallarhorn drop. Happened at the VoG Exotic Chest. Screamed like a little girl I did, no shame lol Everyone of my close friends from my clan were there and we were all laughing for a good 5-6mins. Such an amazing feeling. At the time I was a little past 900hrs. in and the decision not to buy it when Xur first had it always haunted me. Time and time again others got it around me (check painful pic up top from a Nightfall I did with a few clanmates :( ) What was worse is I even had more then enough strange coins to buy it - at the time I think I had enough to buy 2 of them fml - but wanted to wait for Suros Regime. "Why would anybody use a launcher in the exotic slot? This is why I keep coming back to this game, and I am giving it a second chance when Taken King drops. Like the many lifeforms we have encountered in this first year, some Guardians are good, while others are evil. Blink / Shotty / Thorn combo players in Crucible not withstanding. ;) The responses in this go to show that this can be an amazing community. People who have helped each other, fought the darkness for countless hours, and walked away with a lot of good memories. A LOT of dedicated players who journey into the unknown not just in the search for good loot, but for the experience that is Destiny. It's humbling, for me atleast, to read a lot of these and know the struggles a lot of you have fought through, all in the name of having a unique experience and to a lesser point enjoy an engrossing game. I thank all of you, and hope the posts keep coming in over Year 2.
