9 commentairesModifié par iV K0MAT0SE Vi : 9/7/2015 11:38:02 PMGod creates plants on the 3rd day, but all the stars and heavenly bodies on the 4th day. As I'm sure you are well aware, plants need sunlight to live. So how were the plants living on that 3rd day? Were these "magic" plants? If these plants truly needed no sunlight, where are they now? Also, it says that these plants were able to reproduce. But, Genesis also says that birds were made on the 5th day and insects on the 5/6th day. How do plants reproduce without pollinators? How do the seeds get distributed among the Earth without birds or animals?

63 commentairesMy favorite parts of the bible? God "giving" the Human race free will and then flooding the earth for not acting the way he wanted them too. How it's only O.K to kill if God says so.

1 commentaireIn the bible it says man shall not lay with another man like he does with a woman. Do you think he said that because he wants them to do it standing up?

1 commentaireHey look, another religious thread where religious people claim faith this and faith that to every single argument.
-
59 commentairesIf you have faith you are correct. But faith is suspect because it's subjective. Your question is not rational. You're trying to validate the bible by asking us to dis-prove it's validity. However, the Bible isn't valid in the first place because you need faith to make the bible real. Your post is a contradiction.

73 commentairesModifié par HANHdrew : 9/3/2015 10:26:16 PMI'm not huge on religion but if anyone would like to hear my input about atheists: How arrogant can you be to think such a being doesn't exist. We are human and to make such a claim about our origins is purely ignorance. Why is it arrogant? Humans like to believe we're so superior when all we have to compare ourselves to is insects and apes. Considering how much in the universe remains undiscovered hell we don't even fully understand what's in our oceans. Our technology isn't even advanced enough to take us to other planets. If you don't think there is superior beings whether God or something else is plain mediocrity. Seriously get off your high horse because humans forget our place in the universe. So small and insignificant were nothing more than ants compared to other beings. I suppose our existence can be explained with natural causes but existence is also something we don't understand. Also to stand behind science as a reasoning for atheism you must understand we but scratched the surface of science and mathematics don't forget that. Tldr: We don't know everything about everything and to deny something just because it hasn't been discovered or solved doesn't mean it can't exist. Edit: Please read comments before commenting yourself and take the time to actually understand what I've said. It's a waste of time for me to be repeating the same answers.

37 commentairesModifié par Jaws : 9/5/2015 3:21:22 AMlet me add something to that... The Big Bang Hypothesis (yes, if you go on any up-to-date database with scientific journals you would know that it is a hypothesis) is never going to be proven because there's no direct proof, yet non-affiliated folks believe in it. isn't that called faith? But seriously, look up the definition of faith. It fits exactly with what I'm saying. Btw, the Bible is the most historically accurate document of the old times. oh and remember Jesus's tomb is still there in the Middle East! you can visit it any day! I don't need a link to show a database lol. if you cared enough to look up the true origin of the universe and see if a religion was true you would keep on checking the new data on scientific journals as I do.
