How old are you guys? 10? Why are you defending Sony or Microsoft? Anyways, I own both consoles. I wanted to get Destiny on the Xbox One because I hate the DS4 and none of my real life friends play Destiny. It is horrible for shooters, the R2/L2 always breaks (I've bought 2 controllers and the new is starting to break as well) and the L3 doesn't work sometimes when you press it. But since the exclusive content is for one year, I bought the PS4 version. Now for someone who owns only an Xbox One, they're selling Destiny with less content for the same price as the PS4 version. This is unacceptable. Here's why: one year exclusivity on the locked content mean by the time the new content is unlocked for Xbox, it will be useless. The gear may not get a Year 2 version, nobody may play the strikes anymore. This gets worse for the DLCs, for example in Dark Below, PS4 players got a strike, a map and a shotgun while the Xbox players had to pay the same price for the same DLC with less content. The DLC didn't even have enough content to begin with. And who says the game's population will be strong as it is now until then? CoD's timed exclusivity was bad enough but it was only for a month. A year is absurd. And this shit pushed MS to do the same for Tomb Raider but worse, they bought timed exclusivity for the entire game. It even gets worse for the international player. Especially Xbox players outside USA. Not only the buy Taken King for 60 dollars, they also get less content. Destiny in general is a rip-off. This game could've easily been a masterpiece if they didn't have cut content sold as DLC. But Xbox players got ripped off the most. Why would anyone defend Bungie/Activision's decisions is beyond me. Seriously how can you be this stupid? This generation of gamers are pissing me off. They'll defend every shit decision by publishers. No wonder why almost every game now comes with a shitty season pass, one year old games sold as remasters for 60$, games with cut content as DLCs and broken games at launch all because you kids keep buying everything these publishers release.

Activision licenses Destiny to Sony and Microsoft independently of one another. Bonus content is undoubtedly on the table for both companies. These are things that are developed "in addition to" the base game. Think of it as Sony paying for a small bonus DLC for all its users. A company that would do this clearly cares more for quality of service and the experience of their users.

PlayStation lost a lot of previous exclusives from third party developers due to Microsoft's pockets as well as paid exclusive dlc left and right. That was Microsoft's strategy at the time....forget about making first party exclusives and focus on making people buy the Xbox 360 version of a game over the PS3 version because of paid exclusive dlc. Sony is finally fighting back against Microsoft with a taste of their own medicine and now they are the bad guy. Do the world a favor son, pull your lip over your head and swallow.

What about how playstation still hasn't had a confirmed date on when mods will be added Fallout 4 or the crap that happened with skyrim DLC.

I'm not a fan of console exclusivity. I wish destiny was on pc, wii, and whatever the -blam!- else. I wish I could play on my PS4 with people from all those platforms. But I find it hilarious when Xbox users complain about bungie catering to ps4, as halo was an Xbox exclusive game entirely!

The kids who posts here won't understand this and just tell you "SONY PAID FOR IT SKRUB" or something stupid like that. Paying the same price as someone else for a product but only getting a fraction of what they get for the same exact product should be illegal regardless of the type of product. You'll soon hear about Xbox exclusives (CoD DLC rubbish that had 1 month exclusives that the PSN players didn't have to pay for until they got it--which is the exact opposite of XBL Destiny players) or platform exclusives that they are not paying for at all (Tomb Raider, Halo, etc). The kids just don't understand the issue is that people on Xbox paid the same money for the same game in the same box and only received part of the product.

Destiny is a copy/paste game of Halo. This is bungie letting Playstation owners play Halo, and that's it.

The reason why this is happening is because Microsoft now refuses to pay for third party exclusives (Destiny exotics/strikes and CoD maps getting released a month earlieron Xbox now goes to PS). Although over [b]HALF[/b]of the Call of Duty players play on Xbox and still will because let's all admit Xbox still does better on Online functionality. Microsoft knows that these "exclusives" are time exclusive which is relatively pointless. Rise of the Tomb Raider was the only third party exclusive I know they have payed for this year but don't take my word for it.
