So Bungie/Activision is staying in bed with Sony. Stupid.
So year two is here and Bungie/Activision is still screwing over a huge segment of their community because Sony wrote them a big check. This is utter nonsense for the community. Destiny is a very unique game and a very unique and devoted community spanning both platforms. I'm an Xbox gamer but I love hearing from PS Destiny players about their experiences. As I said it's a unique game and community.
But Sony and Microsoft are no different. They have both pulled this junk before. A recent Forbes article nailed it when they said "It’s the worst kind of petty, divisive console wars BS". Indeed it is.
But here is what makes it so incredibly bad. Call of Duty does this but normally it means one console gets a map pack a month (corrected) earlier. This "deal" keeps content out of some players hands for a year. And for a game that has sometimes struggled to supply content, that is a frustrating thing.
Most Destiny players, both PS and Xbox players, are different than a lot of communities. This is a different game. Playstation gamers deserve everything Xbox gamers have and vice versa. And there are certainly different ways to make extra money aside from deals like this.

I couldn't care less if an xbox user cries himself to sleep at night over a few dlc exclusives. A few years ago xbox users were just fine with exclusives, as long as it benefited them. I think they aren't good, having been on the short end(ps3) and the good end(ps4). That said, xbox users need to realize that it's ok that they have to wait for timed content.

I have no control over what Sony or xbox does but I do control what I spend my cash on I just bought a xbone for smite but iam a gamer I own all the current consoles even a alphabox..

It's not about Sony dumping money into it, as a long time halo fan I had always heard Xbox severely pissed off bungie by rushing them to makes more games, after the hit that the first three halos were, Xbox started getting stingy with their primary exclusive fps and was urging them to release a game every year like call of duty was at the time
