Seems kind of obvious this dlc was just a quick way to get extra dough for future cash grabs....
Just look at everything that people liked that bungie arent even going to continue to use in ttk!
Etheric light
Upgradeable legendaries
The shit exotics
Gunsmith reroll option
PoE (technically it will be there but whos gonna waste their time?)
Basically the dlc itself is rendered pointless cause nothing from it will or can be used again.
So seems like i said was right! At the beginning when all the hamsters were hyping up HoW saying "what more do you want they gave you your old legendary guns and armor like you cried for fgt!"
I said they just added that crap to make a poor dlc look bigger but nooooo you didnt want to believe thats why they did it.... And now here we are....morons

Actually, I've enjoyed the HoW more than TdB. Particularly the PoE content. I was still doing raids wroth friends and actually stayed doing more pvp. I've had a good time. I don't think it was a waste of time or money.

You know what was a bad idea re-blam!-ing rolling your perks thnx iron banner

Kids love candy, I still do and would eat shit like that all day. Does that mean it's good for the kid or me? Same goes for reroll and Etheric Light.

What part of this game hasn't been a cash grab?
-
Trials and e light was what I bought it for pretty much. All else is trash.

2 commentairesI think it was such much a cash grab, they brought in it of cool features and i think they wanted to try something new with POE. I think when how came out with no raid because they were working on the raid for ttk. How wasn't that great, it was meh.

Most the exotics are pretty great.

1 commentaireThe House Of Wolves was not a Cash Grab. The Dark Below was, The House Of Wolves just fixed all of The Dark Below's flaws and -blam!--Ups.
-
All of Destiny is a cash grab. Bed game in general. Good developers don't even want to work there.

2 commentairesI'm confused on the preorder thing. Is there a concern that it could take too long or be unavailable to download if you wait to buy ttk? These aren't physical items, it's a chunk of data. And if I know bungie you'll be downloading it with patch 2.0. So when u buy it it'll only be a small download that unlocks it. Like a key, basically If people waited to buy then would that not create more incentive on the devs part to do a better job? I could only see myself preordering a limited production car or something of high value that I could miss out on if I waited.

2 commentairesModifié par Shady2101 : 8/23/2015 11:58:51 PMWas disappointed with HoW when I look back on it: Skolas was easy to cheese then got made easier and the rewards were awful. Plus it gets too repetitive. New exotics were underwhelming and i never used them. No raid.... that was disappointing because it's one of the best parts of destiny. Story was a tiny bit of an improvement but not much. Was very short. Maybe trials was enjoyable for pvpers but that's not my thing. I still play destiny alot but the HoW content I never play unless it gets included in the nightfall. I just run the old raids and play a small bit of crucible. So for me it was disappointing. I was just disillusioned by the excitement of upgrading raid gear and weapons with etheric light which has turned out to have just been a gimmick to shut us up for a few months

this is true. But I'm still love this game, I'm addicted, sorry.

Are you trolling in #destiny again?

I just spent $20 on Red Robins today.

Welcome to the MMO content release formula. You know, the one that has existed for over 15 years? The one that Destiny has been modelled on from the very start? Games of this nature introduce concepts, and discard them just as readily. They are constantly evolving. If you don't like this, take it up with the genre, not with Destiny, not with Bungie.

Well if you want to keep your year one legendaries just don't buy TTK and you can keep running VoG/Crota/Skolas to your heart's content! I am actually looking forward to a gear reset for year two so we can hopefully get more balanced weapons, more sensible perks, and overall a better game.
-
It wasn't a cash grab. It was a patch for the year 1 beta.

It truly was just a lot of little cosmetic changes that now they're turning their backs on. In hindsight now, it seems like those things were implemented to incentivize players to buy the DLC when in reality they never planned on making those changes permanent. For $20, the amount of content we received wasn't worth it at all. Running missions in reverse, an extremely short strike, PoE which nobody plays, bad gear & bad weapons. The only saving grace was ToO but now even that is boring. I didn't even buy HoW right away. I waited for my clan members reviews and they all loved it. Now they don't even play and I'm stuck here not really regretting it but would definitely reconsider buying it now.

Was happy to use VOG gear again but it didn't help the game, it split clans into smaller groups and forced them away. I didn't have a good ToO experience with technical issues, glitches, etc, and the PoE didn't have the big raid experience and too receptive for my liking. Will be happy with raid nights and group exploring with TTK
