So glad that now not only will all the legendary weapons be useless but most of the good exotics from year 1 are left behind as well. What a joke the people at bungie can't even come up with good weapons and when they do they make them obsolete so you have to play the game longer and the way they want you 2 to get the new weapons that aren't as good but didn't get nerfed to garbage level. Oh and for all you year 1 players here's a shader and a few things that everyone else will also have to make you feel special. Newsflash a destiny expansion isn't built on new players you idiots it's about maintaining the player base you have than expanding from there.

I'm not throwing away anything because by the second "year two" DLC they'll backpedal this decision and allow people to ascend/infuse to year 2 stats. They're just making this stuff up as they go along, eventually they'll figure it out again. It's all just a big joke.

It's about casuals apparently who don't collect every thing and don't care about revamping currency and re leveling guns bungie says you can every 3 months. How about 2 raids. One complete raid set of gear then you can do the next? Nah, let's just make roadblocks to drag the game out like commendations and other crap they pulled

1 commentaireI'm not broken up about leaving legendaries behind, they're a dime a dozen at this point. However, leaving select exotics behind while bringing others is kind of an odd move, it should be all or nothing as far as they are concerned.

1 commentaireDude, it's called progression. Don't get left behind. I remember when I played mmorpg's. I loved my +1 ball scratcher. But as I leveled up and new expansions came out I found a +5 ball scratcher with magic fingers. It's so much better than my year 1 ball scratcher.

While I agree with progression in destiny I also believe it should be ultimately up to the player. If I choose to use a gun for the next year that should be my choice. I don't believe they should force this on any player. That's the idea behind destiny....right? I choose they way my character looks, the Stat rolls I want for the activity I'm in, but now I have to choose a gun based on what someone else believe is progression. Sure there may be really good weapons that overtake the classics but for now why force them on us? I see both sides...im excited for the new guns and armor but will miss the ones I have used for awhile now. Say whatever you want about this being an mmo and that it happens all the time and everyone should get used to it. Just stating my opinion.

1 commentaireI am fine starting with new stuff. Yea i put in a lot of hours getting all the guns and armour I wanted but it was fun doing it. I would rather have the experience of using new guns and armour I have never seen before versus using the same stuff I have been for the past year.
