Congrats year 1 players for all your hard work and grinding for
So glad that now not only will all the legendary weapons be useless but most of the good exotics from year 1 are left behind as well. What a joke the people at bungie can't even come up with good weapons and when they do they make them obsolete so you have to play the game longer and the way they want you 2 to get the new weapons that aren't as good but didn't get nerfed to garbage level. Oh and for all you year 1 players here's a shader and a few things that everyone else will also have to make you feel special. Newsflash a destiny expansion isn't built on new players you idiots it's about maintaining the player base you have than expanding from there.

Using the same old shit is getting old, just like people crying over that fact. Not to mention that old gear/guns still play a role in regular Crucible. Every MMO like game or even games like Borderlands introducing DLCs/Add-ons where new gear and guns replaces old equipment. Get over it. That's just common sense and absolutely natural. It's not just a game we play, it's also a game made by Bungie. And if the devs want diversity and change, it's their goddamn right to do so Why is that a problem in Destiny? Because you grinded so hard for it? So actually people had a problem with the grinding and loot in the first place then. Why keep playing the game then? Year one was an interesting year for me and, I guess, Bungie, too. They have to learn a lot and so far TKK looks very promising. Looking forward to year 2.

2 commentairesSeriously. Just stop. I got my 3 Gjallarhorns before Xur sold it. And I don't care that they are getting left behind. I'll be able to go to my Exotic Collections terminal and remember how awesome it was while I'm using new weapons to make things fresh. I'm glad some of the year one exotics are getting left behind. The game already has a hard time keeping things fresh. Do you really want to use Fatebringer for 10 -blam!-ing years!? I sure don't. And the argument that they can't design better weapons than vanilla Destiny weapons is invalid. Vanilla Destiny weapons were hit or miss. Some were fantastic. Some failed. TDB weapons were mostly a miss. HoW weapons were once again hit or miss. - The Messenger. Beast. - Hopscotch Pilgrim. Perhaps the best pulse rifle this game has seen. - Dry Rot. If rolled correctly can be a monster in PVE content. - Matador 64. One of the best PVP shotguns. - BTRD-345. One hell of a machine gun. I'm glad we are moving on from year one. - Where after powering through the entire campaign on launch night, no one understood what the -blam!- the story was about. - Where we constantly got screwed over by Bungie's extremely bad RNG system. - Where players excluded others from end game content if they didn't have a maxed Gjallarhorn. Seriously. Crota is a piece of cake. You don't need Gjallarhorn for that shit.

2 commentairesI agree its a slap in the face from Bungie. They seem to enjoy crapping on their most loyal fans. Everything about the taken king seems to be tailored to a total noob. I don't see any recognition or appreciation for the people that have played their game up till now. Rendering everything obsolete is bs. For those who defend this by calling it an MMO, please- what MMO makes new content obsolete after 4 months? I wanted to be excited about this, but I cant.

1 commentaireI'm calling where this is going to be a TDB situation where Bungie makes a shitty design, like the original exotic upgrade system that reset all upgrade progress, ignore the communities opinion, then realize three months down the road that it was a shitty design decision anyways.

What gets me is they said taken king would have more new exotics than launched with the vanilla game but most of them are just year 2 versions of year one weapons so yet again we are paying for recycled content.

Happens every single mmo exp. WOW every exp made previous raid gear pointless with the first few quest rewards. Get used to it. This is the way of the mmo. They want to make the game more accessible to new player and give them a jumping in point without feeling so massively underpowered compared to everyone else. Can you imagine buying a game and having to grind through 4 exp worth of content just to catch up. No one would buy the game if that was the case. You were powerful for the first year. Youll play more and become powerful once again. It's an endless cycle. Top out new exp top out new exp top out etc etc till game death.

1 commentaireI do not want to be forced to use nothing but FB a shotgun/BH Ghorn For 10 years. And before the "you aren't being forced" posts come. These weapons are so good that you are literally putting yourself at a disadvantage if you chose anything other than the above option unless it's nightfall with a particular burn. I want to have options and multiple weapons that I can use without having to sacrifice power or effectiveness. I am glad they are not coming with me

1 commentaireApparently we're getting a ton of new weapons and there's this thing that game developers strive for. What is it called.... Growth? No, I think it's called game development. The fact that people have to explain that a new expansion with tons of new content shouldn't be drowned in previous content is insane. It's just like playing a game and a sequel is released, only to find out that it's a complete remake with more maps. Everything you're using NOW will be used for the things we're doing NOW. I would rather get a lot more content and weapons than run around maps backwards with a fatebringer and gjallerhorn. We're are getting swords ffs and people still can't stop crying about the gjellyhorn. I've read so many of these posts and it's never gotten to me until now. I can almost guarantee you that there will be guns to match most year 1 weapons. You guys gotta stop betching and moaning and wait until the content is released. Ps I am not a bungie fanboy. I've seen and commented on a lot of mistakes they've made but never complained about new content.
