Bungie stop changing my guns
Bungie stop changing my guns. This is getting rediculous. We pay you a lot of money to use your brains. Get it figured out and leave my guns alone. If you can't then I will play other games. Enough is enough.

Balancing is understandable, however after several weapon fixes, a few dlc's and a year later, Destiny should have been optimized. Sure bugs pop up ie. Last Word. But Bungie's answer to fix a couple weapons (thorn and last word) by completely overhauling the mechanics of the weapon type is unintelligible. Its like fixing a door nob by replacing the whole house. Doesn't make sense. Ice breaker rounds 8 seconds? Ridiculous. Hardly anyone uses IB in pvp so this will affect pve. I don't want to wait 8 seconds per round. It is an exotic weapon that I EARNED. In a couple months bungie will do another patch re-fixing this and their changes. This is not progress, this is regression. I have a feeling that Bungie is not the one making the decisions here. They are funded by Activision who seems to be making the major decisions. In the end, we (the consumers) have the say. Our inactivity and contentness will only further Bungie and Activision's own idiocy. In short: stop penalizing us and starting coming up with real solutions. Please fix this Bungie, or you will lose us all.

3 commentairesI posted this elsewhere from a Forbes article, to bring up the topic of how Bungie handles the psychology and impact of its changes to the community. My argument was that they could have buffed Autos, Scouts, and some other exotics to come closer to Gally. With this they could bump guardians shields like 10-15% for crucible to maintain TTK, and slightly bump all boss health quietly to in effect do the EXACT same thing. Except this way would make people feel good about their weapons, instead of most feeling cheated about their weapons. But, the forums are full of retards who can't understand complex ideas, so........ "I remember a GDC talk by Blizzard’s Rob Pardo where he outlined a concept any MMO designer should be familiar with. “Always balance up,” he said, talking about both World of Warcraft and Diablo 2 (this was a while ago). If you find something in your game that feels overpowered, that’s good. Players will enjoy it. The solution is never to remove that feeling of power, but to power up other things in the game to meet it. When you weaken your most fun tools, you push everything into a mushy middle. Better to explode everything out into weird and new directions by enabling the players."
