Why does bungie care so much about hard light?
Just curious.. in the weapon balancing update they singled out hard light and said they want it to be better, cuz its some sort of favorite? Does anybody else feel this way? Why do they? Thanks for reading :)

1 commentaireI think Hard Light is underpowered. I've one maxed, and it just feels... Inadequate. And the sight is too big, as well.

1 commentaireTwo Exotics I've wanted since first showing. Thunderlord, and Hardlight. Got Thunderlord finally after almost a year, and Hardlight a few months before. Despite one being somewhat bad (HL) I love it anyways because it's fun to use and looks great.

It's a beautifully designed gun, great feel. Just needs some extra power.

2 commentairesHonestly it's my favorite gun in the game even if it's seen as a lesser auto rifle. Still love to use it. Plus it makes a pretty noise and nice light show.

Hard Light, although a weapon of attachment and love, is not statistically good, so they are giving it a buff.

3 commentairesAlways wanted it and when I got it. Totally disappointed. Fortunately it's getting a buff. I use it in crucible for fun. Today I ran a hard light and ldr. Got a 6.5 k/d lol. Its meant to be a powerful weapon for pvp, unfortunately it just doesn't work well. Hopefully the stability buff will be enough. I would have preferred the exotic perk get reworked.

18 commentairesIts all part of the long-term plan. Necrochasm, hard light, the strangers rifle, super good advice... Theres layers of gear that will be either obsolete or elevated over the course of Destiny. 10 years is a long time to be stuck with hand cannons ruling and nobody venturing out of their comfort zone. Bungie wont outright TELL you how to play, but they can adjust the meta to steer us in a direction.

5 commentairesBungie has some weird obsession with ricochet rounds. Hard Light has them, and that was supposed to make it a powerful, desirable weapon. Since ricochet is a minor factor in actual gameplay, that didn't make up for the low impact and general auto rifle problems, so the gun became something of a joke, which was not Bungie's intention. At least, that's my guess. Conversely, I can only assume that the 365 void rocket launcher with shank burn actually was intended to be a joke, or a way of mocking people who buy Bungie products. The alternate explanation is that Bungie's weapon designers really are that clueless.
