What us girl gamers think
See Im a girl gamer and you wonder where we are..........let me explain......We really are always there you just don't realize it. 2/3 of my characters are male so people won't realize I'm a girl. If you guys know you're playing with girls a lot of you will judge us and say we don't know what we're doing. But we can be just as good as you. This is a reason I don't join team chat, bc once you start talking people know you're a girl and won't want to play with you. If you wonder where we are find our gamertag and come play with us. I'm on Xbox 360. Also due to the comments I'm not saying that all guys do this cause I have some really good guy friends that I play with. But on many accounts they have. My gt is levectionx13x

Sad to see that you feel pressured to have characters of the other gender just to be able to play with other gamers. If I wasn't on PS3, I would help you out, but seeing as how I am, I am afraid that isn't an option. Good luck finding some good friends.

GT: Hukkahmon54 System: 360 I'm new to game just got the Legendary TTK so I have everything ready to go been playing and have a basic understanding...I really want to get more in depth and better at this I do not have a fire team yet and really care less if you are male or female i have my problems with screaming kids that's all. I have a few girls on my playlist but I don't join as often as I would . Reason being they don't use mic.

Legit gamers know one thing. We don't give a rats ass on what gender you are in real life. We judge if you are. Good gamer or a bad gamer. And if you don't feel like being apart of the community by talking it pubic chat that's on you.

Every new fire team I join with friends always get surprised when they find out I'm a girl. x'D it's like they see a girl, once a blue moon. > : 3 funny when I survive longer than them in crucible.

2 commentairesI have been in lobbies with girls and I've never heard anyone saying negative things, only guys trying too hard to impress (that's the funniest part I think). I don't play a lot of crucible so that's probably where all the dweebs are, right?

Most randoms I get in a team with are talking about how drunk they are or how much weed they've smoked that night.. and then proceed to die. Or they are younger kids and they continuously talk and scream when they die. So, OPs right. We need to stop judging based on gender. 8 commentairesI'm a girl gamer and I only play with a select group of players. I rarely play with random people. If and when I ever come into vocal contact with other gamers who haven't played with me before I instantly before they see me play or my character, I get friend requests. A lot of the players on destiny are awesome, but then there are creeps. All in all, I'm not hiding, not afraid to play with other people than my close knit friends list. But if you are a girl you have to be cautious of others attitudes, and mentality.

2 commentairesGamers get criticised whether there girls or boys it really don't matter. There are some people out there who do stereotype the female gender. You've just got to take it on the chin and get on with your own shit and ignore the negativity cause at the end of the day if you love to game just do it! I ain't as ranked up as I want to be cause I've not long made a character with destiny after following it since release. So I know for a fact I'm going to get criticised but honestly if I get my bounties etc done I honestly don't give a shit :) I hoped this helped :)

Consider male gamers may not approve of your presents because if they are like me (not saying i don't approve) they've lost a lot of friends and even entire guilds/clans to succubi and whiteknightsmenship. Not necessarily sexism, simply distrust.

See I really don't care if it's a guy or a girl playing, as long as your chill, fun and know what you're doing and not dropping dead every so often them were on a good start. And I also understand what you're saying since my girlfriend complains 100% of the time about this stuff, mostly because she over analyzes (I think, don't hold be accountable on that) but yeah I guess there are some douches that act like that.
