I kicked someone trying to use the heavy ammo glitch on Crota CP normal
Should I have given him the boot?
I think this is the first time I've kicked someone from any Destiny activity. He was literally the only one trying to do it. He even had heavy ammo synthesis, yet flat out refused to use one. With a team of nearly all 32s, and how we still somehow failed through the rest of the raid, I was very aggrivated that this player insisted on wasting our time. Thoughts?
Edit: I offered to have him sit in exclusion zone with me while I farm him the 950 glimmer required to purchase 1 heavy ammo synth. He kept firing his hand cannon...
Edit: just so we're on the same page, this was on a [b]normal run[/b]. On hard mode, I get it, having extra heavy ammo helps. On normal, it's a waste of time to try to heavy ammo glitch when literally everyone on the team has plenty of ammo synths in their inventory.

If its on normal then yes he definitely deserved to get kicked. If it's on hard then yes he deserves to get kicked. There is absolutely no reason to waste time on something so trivial. My clan and I pass it without the glitch. Cudos for kicking him, I would have done the same.

1 commentaireLol I initially voted No but reading further and noticing that it's normal I would be frustrated as well. People solo normal, you only need 2-3 lvl 32 rockets and the others can literally just sit there. Booting maybe kinda harsh though unless he was being a dick.

4 commentairesOn normal, two Gjallarhorn rockets take down Crota, if from a 32. Second, the glitch is just stupid. Get synths, they're there for a reason.

I never do it, unless im doing it solo. but doesn't bother me.. everytime ive joined a team that does it we do crota first try.

Better option? But heavy ammo. It's not hard, xur has been selling it a lot recently. Not everyone has 5 minutes per run to wait for someone to do the glitch.

4 commentairesI just shout at people doing the glitch that I have enough rockets. I run ruin wings and shoot 2 rockets at swordbearer, 2 at Crota each time, and 1 at the boomers. I love Gjallarhorn...

2 commentairesman why do people have an issue with unlimited free heavy ammo. i have tons of synths and i still do it. i can see if it was taking 10 min to drain ammo but less than 30 sec? who cares. normal i can see considering you can do it in one sword but i dunno, i dont see an issue with it on any mode

2 commentairesOn normal, I stand on the crystal and proceed to empty out ammo if everyone else is also on the crystal, I'm not going to waste other people's time. It only takes a few secs to do the glitch with a hand cannon or NLB, just stand on the crystal and don't let everyone wait around for you.

I never do it on normal but always on hard cuz its usually just 4 of us.

2 commentairesOnly kick if they're not stood on the crystal strait away. With the right set up it can be done in the time it takes the glass to disappear.

he needed the boot for sure. when there are people out there that can solo nm and even I can two man it there is no need for the heavy ammo glitch. two man only takes 1 heavy synth per person. smh.

Now that the Heavy Ammo bug is fixed there is no need to do the Heavy Ammo glitch. If the fireteam is about to die, pickup the ammo needed before dying. Also, You can down Crota with almost anything.
