Wow I forgot I wrote this. Anyway the thing is that xur is said to have a bond and he talks as if he is dead, or dies everyday.(xur is made up of dead cells) I think toland, who's last act was trying to figure out the deathsingers song, learned the song and cheated death but had to become something else
