Beat Crota and got...
...two Radiant Shards. [b][i][u]Two.[/u][/i][/b] You're honestly stupid if you think the loot system in this game is okay because it certainly isn't. It needs some serious fixing.

You can't get something good every time. View it as you're gaining experience in doing the raid. I know it took me a couple VoG runs to actually get the hang of it and same goes for Crota.

Beat him on hard and got ship, sparrow and shader and shards, really wanted that hand cannon or scout rifle, but the RNGod in not always with us.

Just gonna reply to the original poster. I can understand the frustration. You beat the final boss of a raid and get...well nothing. On one hand, op has a point. On the other, deal with it guys have one too. In other MMO's, you would have to find a group that could consist of anywhere between 8 to 40 players. 8 to 40, and go through a raid where each boss drops 1-3 pieces of gear. Now, thankfully trash mobs and bosses drop money too, and even crafting mats. For this instance? Getting just 2 shards is like a slap in the face. Since in other games there was a "dice roll" system, where the highest roller gets the prize. This allowed groups to make "clans" so to speak, where they gather once a week, or even a month, to do this and had a point system where members spent points to have a chance to win a piece of gear they wanted. So, for two shards on the last boss, why not 4-7? Having the amount be random. But as far as the rest of the loot drops goes, I am leaning on saying "Welcome to end game content. Hope you have lube for yourself." Good luck and happy hunting. -raises mug-

2 RepliesThis happened to me then the next time I got WoC. Do it again and stop crying. You think guaranteed drops will make the game better and raids more fun? I guess that is why you are posting in the forums instead of making games huh?

Haha I got 3 radiant shards I was so pissed I was optimistic as well maybe the post master might have something for me but nope. I did get red death from deathsinger though. Still some of these drops are ridiculous why does crota have energies or shards as loot to begin with.

I beat Scrota on normal 5 tines and got nothing but shards 3 of those times, but at least I havea black hammer and a sword breaker -_-

8 RepliesI don't know about you but after 4 weeks of the DLC being out I had full raid gear on all 3 classes... I mean I'm no expert or anything but thats a F[u]U[/u]CKTON better than VoG. I also got 2 energy or shards from crota multiple times. No big deal, I don't complain about everything.

Happens to me too, meanwhile my raid team has everything except crux of crota, I can't even get blackhammer to drop. Oh but hunger of crota has dropped at least 6 times. Get rid of RNG stat!

That happened two out of my three runs this week. Pretty sad actually especially when I still need Hunger of Crota.
