Destiny might be addictive like tobacco, but DeeJ isn't like a tobacco lobbyist. He is like a boy working in a candy store. He has the job of maintaining the store but he gets caught up in the magic of the store and gets enveloped in the beauty of everything around him.

Ummmm have you not watched interviews with him? He sidesteps every question thrown at him with some kind of empty response. He is exactly like a tobacco lobbyist.

No! He wasn't given the authority to spoil anything developed. It would've hurt sales or the image Bungie was creating of what Destiny would be. I never watch interviews or read what tobacco lobbyists say but I understand the circumstances that caused DeeJ's answers to be completely vague or off topic.
