Why not just kill him with the second half of the 3rd sword?
I mean 14-15 hits is only 2.5 swords, can't you just down him again and hit him 3 times to finish him off? wouldn't that be the same as waiting for the 4th sword?

For hard mode its not based on a timer. It automatically enrages when you get him to 15-20% health so basically every time you beat crota on hard its going to be very close and you have to ignore the oversoul to beat crota

I know that and its closer to 10-15% not 20%. The op said you had to wait for the 4th sword I was simply asking why you can't just do it with the second half of 3 and at 10-15% you can kill him in 2-3 hits...

Yeah you could kill him with the 2nd half of the 3rd sword. That's the only way ive seen it happen
