I guess exotic pulses are.
Nearly all pulses suck ass. No idea why anyone would use one unless it was their only gun or it's the VoG one.

This. Red death is okay. Bad juju is waaaaay overrated, and all the other pulse rifles just plain suck unless you just get an amazing roll out of a purple engram.
