I don't think you should have to get your ghost out. But I think you should be able to assign items.

The ghost idea just seemed like a good compromise so the don't have to remove the dancing, waving, etc. I don't really use those, but I know that some people do.

The dance moves etc are useless, if you could assign the dpad buttons to items that be more beneficial.
