Kiiling 3 GATEKEEPERS DURING CROTA BATTLE what could this be here for?
Me and a few friends managed to juggle a sword up to where the gatekeepers spawn and kill 3 of them before the sword runs out. I also made a guide on how to get where i go. message my GT ELQUAIDOREBORN if you have any questions

3 RepliesI believe the gate keepers are there as a way of not having to re-code the sword bearers. Every time a sword bearer appears a gate keeper appears in the raid. I believe that room was built for the gate keepers to Be held every time a sword bearer spawns.

3 RepliesProbably for hard mode. We might get two swordbearers to fight them. Sure you could try to kill crota with double swords but leave the team defenseless.

1 ReplyEdited by h0tchee_t0s: 1/18/2015 2:00:12 PMIt's not gonna be for hard mode. Was there when DLC dropped. Apparently bungie is too lazy to take gatekeeper out. Sometimes half his body is stuck inside floor to keep it from actually coming out and killing people.

5 RepliesThree gatekeepers at once happened to my group as well when we got the sword then dropped it and re picked it up. After we killed like 6 gatekeepers they stopped spawning for us anyway.

13 RepliesThink it was intended for anti camping. But seeing how there is a barrier it must be for hard mode. But seeing how you also cant kill gatekeepers without swords and also can only damage crota by sword i really dont know how this will work. Seeing how a perfect run now can give you 6-8 hits and can kill him quick in 2 swords i think you have to kill gatekeepers first and can get max 3-4 hits in with each sword. Meaning you need 4 swords and that would mean close to enrage. Think if you are quick and work together perfect you can run 5 swords before enrage. But if what i heard is correct and oversoul spawns randomly we are screwed if it is like this. Also if there is no chalise, damn.... Same with respawns.... This will probely wont be as easy as it is now......
