Exotics rewarded from crota often do not show until you go to orbit or wait for the stat screen. Waiting for the stat screen is not mandatory. I should know, as I've gotten 2 universal remotes so far after going to orbit from crota.

Yeah, drop feed said I got a g-horn and I didn't get it until we went to orbit. I didn't even notice I got one, I was too hype over getting a helmet and my fireteam pointed it out.

Same. Didn't notice my universal remote till I was checking gear on the companion app later on lol.
