I think its fine the way it is. Its more of a situational weapon. Its good for crowd control when your faced with large mobs or for very close quarters battles. Its also excellent in the raid during atheon since shooting oracles counts as misses so you get to keep most of your ammo and

But 50 rounds of precious heavy ammo for a minotaur? It would need a bigger magazine ( 200)

Never used it for minotaurs. I always switch to SGA after the gatekeeper section and run atheon with it. I've got an mg18a that I run gatekeeper with to help with minotaurs.
