Lol
Destiny requires ZERO skill.
Most people only play the pvp because it's forced to get exotic bounties.
The reason there's so many of these "I'm da bestest at da pvp" posts is because of one reason...
These kids can't do good at any pvp games that take skill BUT since they can do well in destiny, they think they are the greatest.

I would easily disagree. Why? Your opinion is too extreme. You are essentially saying anyone who posts about his or her own skill in destiny, inevitably sucks at other FPSs. Although COD does not require the most skill either, I had a 4.8 K/D on that game. Still, I found it boring and monotonous. That's why I'm here.

Agreed. Everyone knows the only truly skill based fps are on the PC! Competitive console gaming. lol

Gonna have to disagree there. As an ex pc gamer I can say without a doubt mouse & keyboard = easy mode. Using a controller takes more skill in general.

I thought peoole already knew this by now :p

Edited by Howie: 1/5/2015 2:47:50 PMWe'll have to disagree on that. A m&K is more precise, but that doesn't make it easy mode. It simply affords more control and allows for a higher skill ceiling. And vice versa with the limitations of a joypad. Over the last few generations the increase in no.s of slow, ads, short time time to kill fps coincides pretty much exactly with the rise in popularity of console shooters. Developers aren't stupid - they see consoles are where the money is and have to make fps that a pad can handle. Previously we had fast, long time to kill shooters with plenty of verticality - shooters that a pad would struggle with as, comparatively, they suck at twitch aiming and tracking (even with the aim assist they all employ) . Slightly related - do you remember when Dreamcast and PC players fought head to head in Quake 3? It wasn't pretty! Of course, I'm not saying console fps don't require skill, but you just have to compare any high level competitive console play to something of a comparable tier on the PC and the difference is obvious to see.
