I lol'd, but it is seriously disrespectful to people like the guy who got killed for selling cigarettes, or the guy that just got shot in a stairwell because he had his hands in his pockets....

Not disrespectful, sucks to be him, should have been born with a lighter skin pigment
-
Actually no he was killed for resisting arrest
-
He wasn't killed for selling cigarettes, he was killed while resisting arrest (right or wrong, don't skew the story)
-
Well when you holding my arms in a whateverlock, I can't put them behind my back
-
I'm not arguing that the officer's actions were justified, or otherwise, I'm just saying he wasn't just "killed for selling cigarettes"

Do you die from jumping off a bridge or landing in the water? It's really the same thing

Edited by Officer Paiin: 12/16/2014 7:41:56 PMThat's a terrible analogy, a better one would be "did you jump off of the bridge because your friends did or did you jump off of the bridge because you're an idiot?". Both appear to be accurate, but the correct answer is the latter. Yes, your friends jumped but a smart man wouldn't have joined in, and your friends jumping did not actually cause you to jump. Yes, he sold cigarettes illegally but that's not what initiated the fatal confrontation with the cop, it was resisting arrest that did.
