Where do you ger those numbers? An exotic needs FAR more than 25k of xp's. More like 250K. And where is it stated that the current progress is added to the new upgraded version?

And on the off chance those numbers are incorrect and I was misinformed, those conversion rates will stay the same. I know that the XP gains are indefinitely based on the current status of your exotic pre-patch. That's common knowledge.

In a simple YouTube search of crota's end, an uploader released this information who has in the past released accredited news about Destiny via Bungie. Also, if you are diligent about reading the patch notes and frequent updates, DeeJ has been informing players that all exotics will need SIGNIFICANTLY less XP per upgrade.

  • I can tell you: It doesn't matter if it's changed this way. People are complaining because their time and effort to fully upgrade one or more exotic is not appreciated with this update. And even if it's changed this way, bungie did it the worst way. This info had to be part of the first post about re-upgrading exotics. They deserve the shitstorm for their level of retarded news posts.

You see, people like you and responses like that are why console gamers are considered subpar. So what if you "took the time" to upgrade your exotics. You did it on your own accord because you wanted to stay ahead of the game and keep up with the advancements. This is a next generation game, complete with an MMO stylistic approach, which means you must take away in order to gain. Did you know that with the upcoming expansion, you'll be able to activate XP consumables? That each exotic, as mentioned in those retarded news posts you like so much, have confirmed that post-patch exotics are still useful? But instead of reading, you and 90% of the community choose to complain. By all means, continue to complain, because it's people like you that are distraught by updates like this, but it's people like me and my raid team who are more than prepared.

  • I'm giving a shit about others or you, simple as that. I'm not the one complaining, because I accepted that bungie is kind of retarded long ago. I only tried to explain it to your sore ass. Go and have fun leveling the same shit over and over again every three months...I hate it, because it is fu ning with my progress in more than 500hours...but I will do it anyway because there is no more actual content than a raid and leveling up a few things. The good thing is...I'm aware now that it's absolutely pointless to level up every exotic. This conclusion is going to save much of my time in the future because I'll level far less things.

  • I will wait for the DLC to see for myself before deciding either way.
