Why is this a thread? Do you not realize games change, evolve, and grow? "OMGZZ my raidz gearz will bez worthlezzz" this had to be obvious! Did you think VoG gear would be carried over to destiny 2?
Weapons will be less effective as will gear, it happens in EVERY -blam!-ING level progressing game when level caps are raised....

A game can change, evolve grow. A game can change, detract, fail. Now if people are indeed upset about VOG gear becoming irrelevant, shouldn't this be brought to attention? He isn't complaining but rather asking a general question. Why did you even respond? You didn't comment on his question or answer anything. The topic isn't about level progression and how it affects gear. If Destiny is indeed to be a game that defies conventional MMOs, then they need to combine the best of FPS and MMO archetype and that may include altering the way level progression affects weapons. Have you ever heard of a FPS phasing out a weapon?
