I like how rare the dropped ones are. The ones I have gotten from drops all have different special abilities. I really prefer them to the static ones available from a vendor. Maybe that's their design?

Yea i got the hide and seek from a rare engram and i like its perks way better than the one dead orbit sells

Same with my Light/Beware, got it on a drop with ARC damage.

I will agree with you there. the random perks give RNG legendary weapons thier own rarity. RNG exotics don't change perks to my knowledge so Its wierd that people get more upset about those than legendarys.
