So you're telling me you get more exotics and purples than blues and greens over the course of a week playing?
There's no way that's possible.
It is far more rare because you get one or two a week that you keep but countless rare and uncommon that you scrap.

It is possible, actually I keep getting exotics in 3 runs doing nightfall, plus the ones in raid, it would add more exotic items than legendary, at this point I have to dismantle everything because they are always duplicates and I only hope I get pieces of gear from raid for my alternative characters, anything else, I already have it :/

But I can buy anything from vendors if I wait and get my points and coins.

Yes and in the time spent accumulating those coins you will likely have accumulated at least 1-2 legendary's, at least 5-6 blues and probably 10+ greens. Then you get one exotic.
