Midas Multi Tool, is it worth buying?
So Xur is selling Midas Multi Tool. Is it worth buying or should I just save my coins?

3 RepliesAs of now the Mida Tool is a monster in PVP, third eye gives you incredibly quick ADS and you can pop off a few shots before the enemy even sees you, and with the agility and mida perk I often escape certain death as well as run to the heavy ammo before the enemy is even close. It handles nicely and shoots fast, if your aim is true and your strafing is solid you should be able to outgun thorn, vex, suros, even red death. Best PVP primary imo. For PVE it's still a great choice but the perks don't have the same impact, you're better of using thorn or suros for PVE.

I really like it. I would encourage you to get it, the gun handles quite nicely.

I love it. Having active radar while ADS is cool but the real fun is just how much faster your character's movement speed can be with it in hand. Great for PvE

The Voc was more stable and had slightly more range, Oracle damage, auto versus hair trigger was neither here nor there. The only reason I rolled the Mida was for the increase in attack value. If you have a Voc you have an excellent scout, that said so is the Mida. If you can afford the Mida go for it you will not be disappointed. Just my 2 cents worth.

It's a very fun gun to use in PvE, but until the SUROS is nerfed, it can't be used much in PvP.

That being said I'm putting it next to my Suros in the bank seeing is that Xur sold it this week and I like to feel unique. The people who complain are just bad players whom also miss a lot.

I just bought this gun from Xur. I just recently started using a Scout Rifle on another toon and liked it. I can say that this gun is worth every Strange Coin you spend on it! It's tons of fun, does great damage PvE, sounds nice, and has the quick reload. I wish the "Mida Multi-Tool" perk was not there and that it had a better perk seeing as it's an exotic weapon, but still I have no regrets and will max this gun out and probably pass it between my three toons... I have the SUROS, Bad JoJo, and Thorn exotics. I think this one is my new fav just edging out my SUROS. Dunno

You have to work a bit for it. By that I mean that it's a weapon that takes skill to use, but I've had great results in both PvP and PvE.

Yes. Even if you have the VoC it's worth it. Better in pvp than the VoC, and more "fun" in general to use (though the VoC is still a beast).

No it's not unless you just want to collect as many exotics as you can.

1 ReplyIf you don't have vision of confluence or a leveled up scout then I'd say flip a coin on it. I got lucky in VoG and got mine. Haven't leveled it, hadn't really heard good things

3 RepliesNot sure how much truth there is to the rumor. I heard that exotics would likely dismantle into materials needed to upgrade other exotics to keep them relevant after the expansion. I don't know how it will work, but buying a gun like mida, could be beneficial for future use.
