Before anyone says anything, I know Nightfall strikes can be soloed. That out of the way I've just read a thread were at least 95% of people claiming to do something lied about it lol.
They couldn't even blame it on the site updating because they had games from the previous ten minutes. The best one was someone claiming to have a maxed out fatebringer on there lvl 30 lock, no fatebringer, no lvl 30 lock and no solo nightfall lol
Please just for entertainment purposes pull these idiots up and watch their reaction

They did tune the damage given and received in solo nightfall. I played it twice with the same exact character once before the patch (I accidentally killed myself with a name when I was almost done, still kicking myself). Then tried again post patch. Just for reference I was using a lvl 27 Titan bubble bro, maxed IB, and calling scout rifle. Pre patch I could 1 shot shanks with IB, post patch, it took 2 shots. I could kill hobs in 1 shot with p&t not maxed, post patch, 2. Regular adds would headsplode in 2 crits with calling, now it takes at least 3 critical hits. Oh, and I could survive a dreg melee pre patch (not by much, but I was still walking), post patch I get 1 shot. Facts for thought.

What's changed is that the fukin enemies have arc burn too. They can one shot you with their arc shot. Never had that issue and have soloed every nightfall since I was 29.

3 RepliesI solo'ed the strike last week. With the burn it should be doable right? What has changed that makes it harder?

while I agree that many exaggerate or lie, there is no way for you or anyone to see someones max level or what weapons they have beyond the 3 that are currently equipped. For example with me, when I am logged off, most of my good weapons are in the vault because I don't know which of my 3 characters I am going to log onto first tomorrow.

Just finished soloing it. Luckily I had Sunsinger because I had to revive 4 times. Got hardlight from it. Dismantled it... again

I've not done it yet this week. Will do so in a couple of hours. I solo'd it last time though, and the Captains in the underground railway bit were by far the most difficult bit. Having it on Arc this week should make it much easier.

I solo it down to the boss is almost dead then invite friends in for the rewards to save them sometime.

Soloed it first try this morning. Took like 20 minutes, just took it easy. Only had to revive once. Watch out for skanks! :D

4 RepliesYep. This post patch Nightfall is a joke if attempting to solo. Seems like the arc burn damage taken is pretty ridiculous. More so than any arc burn NF I've soloed before. All the people claiming they soloed it easily in 10-15 minutes are straight up liars. It's definitely doable, but at a much more conservative pace while hiding out more than normal.
