more damage mitigation from Armor, or slightly higher Armor rating on Titan gear = problem solved.

This absolutely would work. As it was stated below, this is RPG 101. Hell, even Mass Effect has a version of this. I became a Titan because I wanted to be part of a team, and the part of the team I wanted to be was the Tank- and maybe eventually the Paladin, helping to heal and shield my teammates. It seems like the Titan is sort of there. Fist of Havok for crowd control, bubble shield to defend and buff. Bungie just needs to apply tweaks to the current formula to really make each class feel different. Honestly, my Titan should not be able to snipe as well as a hunter, the hunter should be long dead in a mob i can survive and the warlock should have more supers or be able to super faster than the other two classes.

are you kidding? this solves NOTHING. take less damage, but same damage output as everyone else? Means an OP class that everyone will use. You couldn't be further from a solution if you lived on Pluto!

Edited by T3mpest: 11/21/2014 8:06:25 PMOr it could be like every other mmo style game. Tank has more health/armor. Warlock can do the best aoe damage against groups of weaker enemies (crowd control, along with surivability due to rez, etc.) hunter can do the most single target damage for things like bosses, etc, but low survability, like they already have. They'd have to expand more than just the titans to make it work, but it COULD work.

Edited by Trando: 11/17/2014 5:25:44 PMHonestly I didn't mean this to turn into a class argument. But PvP needs to be separated from PvE, or at least on a different tier, having everything connected takes away from ideas like this. Gear and abilities need separate stats. But honestly, all classes are OP in their own ways, can we get back to discussing what could be done to improve class relations and unique experiences?
