What they should have done was make mythoclast a pve only gun and disabled in pvp zones. Done! Some mmos do this. Disabling certain items/powers/weapons that would break a pvp match, but leave it untouched for pve.

  • Well in that case, let's just remove all exotic weapons from the crucible. It has always been technically possible for everyone to get the mythoclast with a good bit of teamwork and time. It's not like only some players were allowed to get the mythoclast. And since it is something everyone has a chance of getting, I don't see what the problem is with it being strong. If you invest enough time to finally get the mythoclast, you deserve to have the BEST overall weapon in the game in PvE and PvP. Yea it needed a *slight nerf in PvP, but not quite 34% and it shouldn't have been touched in PvE at all. But whatever, haters gonna hate... hate... hate...hate... hate... lol

  • This. I can hang with the best in most PVP FPS's but due to time constraints, I don't have time to do raids and collect the best gear in this game. I run missions and play crucible but I get owned in crucible by raiders loaded up with legendary and exotic gear. No need to nerf anything, just make them separate for each aspect of the game or alter the pve gear when playing in crucible.

WOW actually has separate gear for the two. You can't stack the same stats for gear in PVP like you need in a Raid. You would get owned wearing raid gear in PVP.
