Sparrow Races
Am I the only one who thinks this would be so kick ass? This game needs some more features and adding racing wouldn't be too difficult (I mean, hell, they did it in Reach). All they would have to do is make a few racing maps n that would prove to be an awesome update. I love riding the speeders, especially the rare ones with the left and right boosts, so adding official races would certainly make me happy. But that's just me, what do you guys think?

I wouldn't care if they reused maps for this. Venus would be a nice area for the races. Let's just make sure that people patrolling can see them.

This seems like such an easy idea to put into practice too. Id love to see DeeJ respond to something like this cause I think one thing we're all wondering is how much is Bungie trying yo add to the game? Can we ever expect to see new game modes or just stuff like trading systems?

I like to try and races people but not everyone wants to race. I'd like an are an of a map to do loop-de-loops on and all that fun stuff.

Doesn't hurt to add a racing mini game or some sort. If bungie is not going to support it and just let players have at it, there should be a system where players can trade or "bet" some of their possessions.

So odds are we wont see that, but it is a good idea and would be fun.

I also thought about a football (soccer) type thing too, explained in another post in this forum (pure harmless fun)

Others have mentioned this too in this forum, I was thinking a pod race type thing but teams can be split where half act as on foot shooters for the races.
