F*** Thorn.
I hope which ever designer thought it'd be cool for us to go run around the crucible killing with a void damage to get this revolver has a strong a beautiful family.
I hope he has a son that he's proud of and hopes to see grow and flourish into a proud young man with his entire life ahead of him.
And then I hope somebody kills that son with void damage.

1 ReplyThe bounty itself I didnt have a problem with, it was challenging but it was for an exotic handgun that can poison people so it should be challenging. Then I got the gun, and all I could say was "well..at least it looks cool". Then I went back to crucible and the rng gods blessed me with hawkmoon, suros, and Plan C all in the same weekend. Moral of the story-we all get our exotics eventually one way or another.

Its hilarious when these guys come in here and complain that the thorn bounty is hard. It's actually the quickest exotic bounty. Getting 599 points takes a few hours if you actually try, but even better is it requires a little skill which most don't have that make posts like this.

2 RepliesI don't like PvP in this game and don't play it. I was running out of things to do the other day and thought I would get started on this bounty as well as the one for the shotgun because they were clogging my bounty slots and 100 trips to the tower to complete 10 bounties a day was getting annoying. I bought the shotgun with void damage from the Dead Orbit vendor and set out to start this bounty thinking that one day I could maybe get these weapons... A few hours later, the PvP parts of these bounties were complete and even got the first blood achievement that I thought I was never going to get. All you have to do is make sure no one is home so you can scream and yell at how stupid the crucible is during these few hours.

the 500 points wasn't that bad/hard to get...however...I haven't gotten up the nerve yet to go after the finial part....That part looks rough.

It's not that hard, I completed that part in 3 games. But the hard part is the last part, which is doing the summoning pits on level 26 with epic. This I thought was stupid cause it had no match making and non of my friends got Destiny.

this bounty is a bch for anyon who isn't a warlock... Since they dominate pvp and have easy access void damage... :( Meanwhile I'm crying inside about my bladedancer/gun slinger I'm at like 300/500 void damage this bounty hurt my k/d so much T.T

I did rumble and was camping with my legendary void fusion rifle. 22 kills and 10 deaths in most matches :) When doing the Thorn bounty, do not play team games else it will take you much much... much longer to reach 500 XD

3 RepliesThe grind for the Thorn bounty in Crucible was a cakewalk for me. Just used Atheons Epilogue, Epitaph with Void Damage and a Void Rocket Launcher. Took a while, but it wasn't as long as i'd have expected it to be.

4 RepliesOr... or... (Get a load of this) you can: A). You can suck it up, and just do it. I did it, and so have many others. It's not impossible. B). Quit the bounty. Exotics are the highest tier in the game. Stop expecting to cake-walk your way to the best gear in the game. What next? Are you gonna want an automatic win for just showing up in the Crucible? If you want the best gear, be prepared to earn it.
