Those who "AFK" strikes
Is anything going to be done about them? I just did a strike to kill whatshisname on Earth. It was me and another guy with one dude just sitting in the back doing nothing.
We wiped once and when he spawned next to us he just ran to safety, so I know he was there.
This is the 4th time someone has been doing this today.

Interact with player then report. Done

I report them, then I go to a restricted area and let the enemies kill me. It counts It as a refresh and all their survival bounties get reset :)

The worst are the people who are not good enough (not like it's hard) to complete a strike without dying. They might help through the fight but they sometimes dont even join the boss fight. Pathetic.

Earth strike. Dude runs with us until we start the first wave, runs back out and farms until we beat the walker. Then I went to go find him, plug my Mic in and spew expletives, then left him with the level 20 who would never finish solo. But what would he care, he was farming with the added bonus of maybe a free strike. His name was Edzilla85, ps4. (Yeah I'm going to start taking names and throwing them to the wolves.)

Anytime I have to set the controller down for more than a few minutes to take a phone call or let the dog out, I am booted to orbit with a message on the screen asking if I'm still there or something. How are people AFK for that long unless they are moving around or something?

I was teamed with 2 a cpl days ago in a tiger strike (mars), one a 28 hunter and one a 27 titan... for some reason the titan decided to play hide and seek, hunter msgs me and tells me to "wipe"... so we did and sure enough upon respawning, titan plays peek a boo again... so we just sat down and stayed sitting til he got bored and went to orbit and we then c ompleted the strike.

Had two players leave a strike on me today while I "AFK" went on a potty break during a loading screen. I guess because I didn't jump on my sparrow immediately they thought I was gone. Idiots.

File a complaint for whatever it may fall under,and leave the strike. Maybe send a little message expressing your disapproval of their behavior in any manner you see fitting. If you want.

Don't finish the strike if there is an AFK guy, that encourages that behaviour.

4 RepliesReport as inactive then leave. I also sometimes send them messages saying simply "reported" to let them know such actions are not tolerated. My favorite response is hate mail or a bs excuse. I understand life calls, but perhaps choosing a strike and then going idle was a poor choice rather then returning to orbit or turn off your console. I do no pay for a service to watch you stand there.

This is a big problem with this game. I have reported so many people but not sure if anything happens. Happens alot to me so I work out its roughly 20 percent of the people taking the easy way out.

I get this too but ik people have things to take care of so me and another person do part of it and if us two finish it than oh well.. O.O everythings random so help or not the chances of getting something good is random.

An simple method would be to assign a position as Fireteam leader to a player. Give the leader the ability to kick inactive players. It's not a perfect fix as it could assign lead to the AFKer, but it's better than what we have.

A voting system where the other two players can agree on kicking one player.

Not much they can do about it, there are people that legitimately suck at the game (not that the guy in your strike wasn't just being a douch) and any limiters they put in would potentially grab innocent people.
