4th Playable Race Ideas?
Let's hear it guardians, what race would you like to explore the universe of Destiny as? Get that creativity flowing.
I personally love the idea of a Tiger/Human race like the Vah Shir from EQ: Shadows of Luclin (old school).

Well we have to kind of base it on whether or not we want a life form that has been super evolved due to the Travelers presence (he made mars and venus habitable, maybe a Venusian race) or whether we have some race from across the galaxy trying to escape the darkness and is maybe good but also a little evil. I wanted to play as like a good Dreg, maybe theres a group of Fallen Dregs that dont want to destroy the traveler or something and they join our fight. -----Tigermen would be tight I just would want a valid explanation. If its another worldly species than you dont need to explain much but if its an Earth based animal-turned-humanoid then it should be explained

1 ReplyA playable Fallen won't work simply because of the character model. I would like to see a race that isn't a sub human like the awoken, and not created by humans like the Exo. What I mean is something not from earth basically. It can't be Hive, Fallen, Cabal, or Vex because those are pushed by the Darkness. It would have to be maybe a race that has dealt with the darkness in another galaxy maybe? A race that was pushed to extinction nearly and fled to our solar system in search of aid. It could a race of humanoid scavengers who use find and create as they go. Since they wouldn't have known the traveler as long as humans and etc, they could have super abilities based on Tech they have created. Just an Idea. We could call them the Gilded because the way they cover their entire body in cloth and wraps protecting them from the elements.

3 RepliesA warlike race; it seems like in most (if not all) sci fi stories there's always a race that loves to fight and embodies war, like the Klingon or Krogan/Turian. So maybe Destiny should have one. An all female race as well.

3 RepliesEdited by Koldraxon: 7/31/2014 2:11:24 PMLike M80, I'd say a Pro-Traveler/Guardian/Rebuilder alliance with a Fallen House which kept hiding from the Darkness when their Golden Age stopped, they return to help those who remain speed up their progress of 'Re-Ascension'. [spoiler]Basically, I wanna play as a Fallen Guardian. Would be interesting. They'd obviously start as a Dreg, then Vandal (Ghost being your permanent Dreg companion), then Captain (Your weapons switch in a more odd way, each lower arm would hold a Special and Heavy, but cannot be used unless equipped (weapon passed to primary arms, current passed to heavy, heavy passed to special, like a sort of switch triangle), then Lesser Archon (each time, you get tougher, this last evolution would show their progress and status). [/spoiler]
