Why do the female Exo have boobs?
Serious question here. The Exo have no need for mammary glands that produce milk (boobies). I suppose they were "made in humanity's image" but what is [i]there[/i] instead? Does this make them have more parts than their male counterparts?

[spoiler]I'm not sure if all of them were, but at least some of the first Exos were formerly humans. Their consciousnesses were transferred into the Exo bodies as a way of granting them a form of immortality. It's reasonable to assume that somebody would feel more comfortable in a body type that aligned with their human body. [/spoiler]

As any electrical engineer knows, the tighter you pack your electronics, the greater concern heat becomes. To combat the extra heat generated in the smaller female Exo frame, two larger heat sinks were added to the upper torso. Definitely don't try to touch them. You'll burn yourself.

Exos were built by humans. Humans built them to look somewhat human due to the xenophobia humans typically have. Humans can interact with something that looks like them more easily than someone who does not. However studies have shown that if a robot looks too human then the humans have the opposite reaction and will become uncomfortable. So, Exo females have boobs because humans built them that way.

They don't necessarily have breasts, they just have that shaped into their chest so you can easily tell them apart from their male counterpart. Plus they would want to look similar to how they did in their past life, I'd assume. I like to think that exo chests contain their power source among other things ( fake heart containing power source, lungs etc, so that they have some sense of humanity).
